Hexis CG1 - SAR Helicopter

The Hexis CG1 is fast, super compact SAR helicopter loaded with equipment in a very tiny package. It has a top speed over 150 knots and with just 5000 liters of fuel it has a range over 250km. As any SAR vehicle should have, it features two harnesses, medical bed, radios, a liftin winch and all other types of equipment you would expect from a versatile helicopter.



- Sit down in the pilot seat
- Turn on the Main power and Cockpit power switches on the left side console
- Turn on the Stabilizing and Engines ON switches on the right side console
- Turn on navigation lights with the flip switch on the left side console.
- Use the controls listed at the pilot seat to control the helicopter
- Retract the landing gear with the button on the right side console
- When pitching forwards to accelerate you have to compensate with the up/down controls like with any helicopter, but when you have accelerated enough, then jet engines will stabilize it to vertical flight. Easiest way to do this is to just gain some altitude before accelerating.



It’s important that you gain some altitude before engaging the autopilot.

The HUD screen can change display by clicking the “NEXT” button in the top left corner. It can display either flight info, map or radar.

The red harness on the winch in the back is the control harness. The orange one is just a passenger harness and cant control the winch.

The Hexis is fitted with both an emergency beacon and an emergency beacon locator.

The controls for the winch is on the right side panel.
