ASD U-107 STC Fold Array

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

With the introduction of the Achilles class of attack crafts, Aster Stahl Dynamics faced a problem that would put them behind competition, were it left in its state.
This problem was that the Achilles was small and nimble, but not quite small enough to fit inside the hangar of larger ships, which furthermore lacked exterior connectors.
For larger ships to maintain their escorts in hostile territory, this problem therefore called for a literally transportable means of transportation.
Thus, ASD engineer Sergeï Novgorod came up with the idea of the Space-Time Continuum Fold Array, which allows for small craft transportation over large distances, so as to keep up with larger, jump-capable ships.



SYSTEMS:

-cargo containers for light storage
-reactors and batteries
-gyroscopes (thought it is very difficult to manoeuvre)
-ion thrusters for course correction, should something bump into the construct
-jump drives (obviously, this is what it's for after all)
-antenna
-connector for docking (large and small grids alike, the STC Fold Array works for both)


TOOLBARS:

This device does not possess autonomous control, so to get access to the jump capability, you simply need to select the jump drive in the G menu.
