Violett Orb Collecting Guide

This guide is supposed to help people who try find the hidden Orbs to unlock Achievements. Since there isn't such a guide yet and searching for the Orbs can be frustrating, boring and/or time consuming, I try my best to point out most/all Orb locations. This list might contain minor spoilers.

Foreword
Important:
This guide is supposed to help players to find hidden Orbs. Locations of Orbs might change after game patches and this guide will probably be outdated at some point.

Keep in mind that Orbs sometimes can only be seen from a specific point of view.
If I made any errors or missed Orbs feel free to correct me in the comments.

  • 3rd floor, upper center -> above a blue and below a yellow book

Green:
  • 1st floor, upper left side -> on top of a lamp, above the exit
  • 3rd floor, lower left corner -> in front of the lowest weather book, to the right of a quill
  • 3rd floor, right side -> hidden, in a drawer, bewlow the right weather book
  • 3rd floor, upper left side -> between some books, to the left of the upper weather book

Celadon:
  • 1st floor, lower left corner -> hidden, under a pen cap that has to be moved twice
  • 1st floor, upper right side -> below the big book, on top of the left lantern
  • 1st floor, lower left corner -> below the big book, on top of the right lantern

5. Bathroom

  • upper left side, background -> in front of the center of a blue plate
  • right center, middle ground -> in the tub, underwater, to the right of a rag

  • center, middel ground -> hidden, inside the tub's frame, marked with a nail, to the left of the rug
  • upper right center, middle ground -> to the left of the mirror
  • upper right corner, middle ground -> in front of the cup, to the left of the curtain

Celadon:
  • left center, middleground -> to the left of the sponge
  • upper center, background -> outside of the right window, in front of a tree
  • right center, middle ground -> hidden, behind a door inside the mirror's frame, left to the ladder

6. Playroom

Blue:
  • upper left corner, foreground -> in front of a blue decorating chain
  • center, background -> hidden, inside the toy stove
  • right side, foreground -> in front of the Rubik's Cube

  • left center, middle ground -> hidden, behind the train's first wagon, train needs to be moved
  • lower right side, foreground -> hidden, inside the right slim, pink box
  • lower right corner, foreground -> hidden, under some stitches in a yellow-white pillow

Celadon:
  • upper left side, background -> hidden, behind the flower pot, to the right of the amulet
  • lower right center, foreground -> hidden, behind the red billiard ball to the right of the train
  • lower right side, freground -> on top of the teal lego brick

7. Kitchen
12 Orbs:

Blue:
  • left side, middle ground -> under the glass cover, above the blue berries, requires key
  • center, middle ground -> hidden, inside the statue to the Catterpillar's left, revealed by a lever on the statue's head
  • upper rights side, background -> hidden, inside the tea pot on the shelf
  • lower right corner, foreground -> hidden, inside the giant kettle, appears upon flooding the area

  • left center, middle ground -> hidden, under the door covering the Construction Site Entrance

  • upper left side, middle ground -> hidden, behind a leaf, above the ant hole
  • upper left side, background -> behind a starfish, to the left of the treehouse (hard to see)
  • upper center, background -> to the right of the 'Cuckoo'-Page, in front of the background
  • lower right side, background -> in front of some leafes, below the branch, sometimes covered by the swinging pendulum
  • upper right corner, background -> behind a branch, to the right above the cuckoo clock

Celadon:

  • upper left corner, middleground -> in front of the left teal flower
  • upper left corner, middleground -> in front of the right teal flower
  • center, background -> hidden, behind the birdhouse's door
  • right center, middle ground -> on the tip of a vine, between the worm and the cuckoo clock

  • upper right side, background -> above the highest branch, on the right side, branch is covered in webs, may require a specific angle to see it
  • upper right side, foreground -> behind the leafes that cover the screen from the very right

Green:
  • lower left corner, foreground -> hidden, behind a door in the walkable trunk
  • upper left center, foreground -> behind the leafes covering the screen from the very top
  • center, middle ground -> hidden, behind a window in the tree, on the mid level
  • right side, foreground -> behind the leafes that cover the screen from the very right

Celadon:

  • lower left side, background -> in front of the right gnarly plant, left of the balloons
  • upper left center, middle ground -> in front of the right bridge support, above the middle of the bridge
  • lower right side, middle ground -> to the right of the iron gate, to the left of the root
  • upper right side, back ground -> far in the back between the right two big trees (pretty small)

10. Garden
12 Orbs:

Blue:
  • lower left side, foreground -> on top of a plant, near the tip, to the left of the orange flowers
  • lower center, foreground -> in front of the second orange flower, in its center
  • upper center, middleground -> in the river, between the tips of two plants
  • upper right center, background -> in front of the left gnome's right eye

Green:
  • upper left side, foreground -> behind the leafes that cover the screen from the very top
  • upper left side, foreground -> in front of a leafes that covers the screen from the very top
  • upper right center, background -> hidden, behind the tip of a rock, above the left gnome
  • lower right center, foreground -> on a plant, below the fountain

Celadon:

  • lower left corner, foreground -> behind the plant with the curled tip
  • lower center, foreground -> in front of the right orange flower, in its center
  • center, middleground -> on a ledge, below some stairs, above the 'Grasshopper'
  • lower right corner, foreground -> in the mout of the right fish statue

11. Volcano
6 Orbs

Blue:
  • lower left corner, foreground -> hidden, in a drawer inside the tipped Gnome statue
  • center, middle ground -> in front of the blue skinned Gnome's right eye

Green:
  • lower center, middle ground -> hidden, under a leaf that lies on the path
  • right center, middle ground -> behind the spoon thing wielded by the gnome, can be picked up upon loading cannon balls, only obtainable before shooting all targets

Celadon:
  • lower left side, middle ground -> in front of the faceless Gnome's left knee
  • right side, background -> in front of the giant Gnome's shirt, right above the belt buckle

12. Island
11 Orbs:

Blue:
  • left side, middle ground -> hidden, inside a drawer in the tower, to the left of the dead end door
  • upper right center, middle ground -> behind the roof, on the left side
  • right center, middle ground -> hidden, turn the below the roof wheel to reveal it
  • right side, middle ground -> in front of the frog's wheel

Green:
  • upper left center, background -> in front of the wind mill's center, above the towers's roof
  • lower center, foreground -> to the right of the second lever, on the tiny island, above the plant
  • upper right side, middle ground -> in front of a screw with a big gear behind it

Celadon:
  • left side, foreground -> hidden, under a shoe below the singing frog
  • center, middleground -> behind the rock covering the water element, to the right side
  • lower right side, background -> underwater
  • right side, middle ground -> behind some wooded planks, below the bicycle frog

13. Airplane
9 Orbs:

Blue:
  • upper left side, background -> sticking out behind a flag
  • lower center, middle ground -> the right decoration of the railing
  • upper right center, background -> behind the building, to the left of the yellow bell

Green:
  • left center, background -> behind a tree
  • lower left center, middle ground -> sticking out behind a wall, to the right of the gate
  • right side, background -> sticking out behind a cliff

Celadon:
  • upper left side, middle ground -> behind a steel beam, left side
  • lower left side, foreground -> sticking out of a chimney
  • right side, middle ground -> behind some tree branches

14. Chimneys

Blue:
  • upper center, middle ground -> behind the right hook that holds the lift
  • upper center, middle ground -> hidden, revealed by pushing the lose brick on the left chimney
  • upper center, middle ground -> hidden, revealed by pushing two lose bricks on the right chimney
  • right side, middle ground -> behind the fire, on top of the stairs

Green:
  • lower center, foreground -> hidden, under a metal cover in the roof, to the left of the stairs
  • lower center, middle ground -> behind a metal bar between the chimneys, on the left side
  • center, middle ground -> behind the lowest of the small stone chimneys, on the left side
  • right side, middle ground -> behind the fire

Celadon:
  • lower left side, middle ground -> hidden, in a small pipe, revealed by opening a valve to the right
  • upper right side, middle ground -> behind the roof and the right chimney, above the air elemental

  • upper center, foreground -> behind a stalactite, can be seen while standing on the dragons (Thanks ShenWolf)

  • lower right center, foreground -> sticking out behind a crytal, can only be seen from upper level
  • lower right center, middleground -> between two mushrooms

Green:
  • left side, background -> in front of the tip of a rock, near the 'Pincher' holes
  • lower center, middle ground -> in the water

Celadon:
  • lower left side, foreground -> behind a crystal, near the water
  • left center, background -> sticking out behind a rock, to the left of the 'Pincher' colony
  • center, middle ground -> behind a coral plant growing in the water

16. Construction Site

you don´t need the orb on the queens hat for the achievement.

I am pretty sure it is a bug. It could be picked up in the past. I am happy my guide could help you though. Glad you got the achievement.

Thank you so much pour this guide, and for the green orb on the hat, I don't think it's a bug, 'cause there is an achievement saying "all except one".

Thank you SO much! This helped me get the Supercharged Achievement. I recommend anyone trying to do this to do all orbs per area, and keep track of the number you should have. :hopeful:

Yeah, one green orb is bugged. It is placed on the queens hat.
