Sling is OP as fuck long as you figure out the secret the ranged weapons.

i have been able to beat the game without any traits you just gotta get lucky early on and get some clothing and also a sling, the sling is the weapon in the game with enough rocks i've been able to kill a wolfman

The only runs I survive for long are Melee+Strong+Trapping+Botany+Metabolilsm draw back. Otherwise the cold kills. Dogskin coat is the best starting gear.
