There is no manual save in the game. You can only select episodes from top in main menu. Restarting episode resets all progress in it. If you really want to do this select episode and start New Game.

If you want to skip dialogues keep pressed right mouse button to change speed (x1, x2, MAX).
Click one time RMB to turn it OFF.

Limited achievements can be earn by quickly loading checkpoint. Press Esc->Main Menu->Continue.

Episode 3 is a bit bugged and freezing. Turning off auto progress and skipping manualy with 'space' key + clicking only on choices helps. If game freeze press Esc->Main Menu->Continue and turn off auto progress.

Turn off auto progress before this choice to avoid auto save on next checkpoint!
