Arle & Carbuncle

Coming down from the Puyo Puyo series is Arle Nadja along with her best friend, Carbuncle. They will be joining the Rivals of Aether roster in the Steam Workshop.

Gimmicks:
- PUYO PUYO: Aerial Attacks use Puyo from the Next Queue, each colour with varying properties. Green deals normal damage and knockback. Red deals more damage. Blue deals more hit stun. Yellow deals more knockback. Puyo also enhance Special Attacks linked to them.
- NEXT QUEUE: By your character icon is the Next Queue, displaying which Puyos are available next. Keep an eye on it so you know how your Aerial will affect your opponent and which Specials will get enhanced.
- CARBUNCLE: Jab 3, Down Tilt, Dash Attack and all Strongs use Carbuncle’s tongue or his laser from his forehead.

Specials:
- NEUTRAL: Fireball ~ Shoot a fireball straight, up or down.
- SIDE: Ice Storm ~ Drop a shard of ice in an area of your choice.
- UP: Puyo Bounce ~ Spring high up with a Puyo. The Puyo will remain as a small bumper.
- DOWN: Brain Dumbed ~ Shoot a slow projectile that stuns on contact.
