Inspired by X:Rebirth Icon mod, this mod replaces the ships and some stations in the galaxy map with Custom X:Rebirth and hand curated and design's that I have created.

  • Various Ship Roles now have Role exclusive icons to represent them, no longer is every ship just a triangle anymore! Bomber, heavy-fighter, scout, frigate, destroyer, carrier, re-supply, you name it all classes have stylised icon
  • Faction Exclusives. Xen and Khak have totally unique icon themes to represent them! Other factions still use standardised design.
  • Icons are sized to match their class no two classes are exactly the same size on the map.

That's good to hear it definitely makes sense to wait for the next big update! I downloaded all the others and they had the same issues as well

A recent update to the game (post 6.0) has broken the compatibility. This is likely due to changes in ship class icon file naming scheme or some kind of refactoring of the icons XML script and will need to be investigated as to what the differences then I can create a new patch and make needed adjustments.

I'm considering an update for the 7.50 Beta, which would involve a complete rebuild of the mod. In the interim, other mods may offer improved icon visuals.

Rebirth icons were the best in series I think.
I do have game installed now, I believe the issue with this is either naming changes or class changes

You'd think people being paid would make better icons compared to someone doing it for free, but yours are WAY better.
