Introduction
Hello there. Are you a fresh (or not, doesn't matter) CS:GO player who's struggling to finally get a skill group? Or have you got your skill group but turned out to be a Silver?

Then lean back and I'd be sharing you some tips to actually be free of Unranked hell!

(Well actually as of typing this guide, I still need to win one last match before I get my skill group. Call me stupid.)
Knowing Simple Strategies - Money and Weapon Choices
[Subtopic 1: Saving Money]

Okay. You're playing Competitive and suddenly someone from the enemy team managed to wipe everyone, and you and your teammates were wondering what the hell is happening. Green is starting to yell "HACKER OMG ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥" to their mic. Purple's now walking in circles while you and the rest are trying to salvage the situation. You're now mad at yourself for playing this game instead of something like DotA 2.

Next round you can't buy any good weapon in the shop, you're asking your teammate to buy you one but sadly, they're all broke same as you.

What do you do?

Of course your teammate would recommend to go eco.

Now let me explain what "eco" is:

It's where your team has very little money and you resort to refrain from buying weapons so that you can either save money or pick up enemy weaponry for use (if you survive) on the next round.

Now you and your team must have money lower than $2300 to do an eco round. You really should refrain from buying guns. There are two outcomes of an eco round, (a) is if you lose, you're going to get an additional of $1900 for the next round, for a total of $4200; and (b) your team eliminated the enemy team and you picked up your opponent's AWP/M4/AK/AUG/SG553, thus increasing your budget with $3000 for a total of $5300.

If you lost the round, do NOT buy the M4/AK/AUG/SG553. It would be too risky. Instead, take the alternative:

FAMAS/Galil - $300
MP9/MAC-10/MP7 - $600
Sawed-Off/MAG-7 - $900

The SMGs I have mentioned have good accuracy and recoil and give out a $600 kill reward; while these shotguns, although more costly than the Nova, is more powerful and has a higher chance of killing your target in close range than the $1050 shotgun, and gives you $900 for every kill you get with it.

The FAMAS/Galil are also good choices when you prefer to use a rifle for they have good burst accuracy (I recommend not switching the Burst option for the FAMAS) and are very cheap, but they give off $300 --- but until you pick up a better rifle, then you should be thanking yourself for buying it.

[Subtopic 2: Tips on Buying Expensive Weapons]

If you are planning to buy an AWP, make sure you have at least $5600 so that you can purchase both the AWP and a kevlar vest, and purchase a good secondary such as the Dual Berettas or the Five-Seven/TEC-9 for their accuracy and rate of fire is modest to back you up.

When you do have the AWP, you should stay in bombsites (if CT in Defusal maps) and stay behind the riflemen (if T in Defusal maps, it's the other way around on Hostage maps) and avoid picking mid because the chances of you dying is quite high, thus wasting your money.

I know it is tempting to buy the M249, but please buy it only if you are actually curb-stomping your opponents so hard that you're just going to take it very easy. This machine gun is not suitable for pinning down opponents and has a very funny recoil and spread, unlike the Negev - so be careful on what you buy.

The G3/SG-1 and SCAR-20 rifles are good for desperate situations, for example you have money but is currently on the verge of losing, like 10-10. These rifles need two bullets to land and will surely kill an enemy. It costs $5000, so be very careful in buying these because when your opponents get their hands on this, just pray their reflexes are slow or you and your team will surely lose the round, or worse - the match itself.
Knowing Simple Strategies - Teamplay
Counter-Strike: Global Offensive requires you to cooperate with your teammates to secure victory, of course. You know that.

On this section, I am going to give you tips on how to help your teammates effectively in gunfights and how you should properly do your role.

In the game, there are which I think 5 roles or something?

Leader/Commanders: These are the players, as explained by their role, who tell the team where to go, what to do, when to push, etcetera.
Riflemen: Riflemen probably have the most depressing role in the game for they are the ones that usually die first because most players of this role are what they call 'entry-fraggers' who tend to rush first on sites and clear it so that the rest of the team can do their objectives.
Support: These players are the ones who usually buy AUG/SG-553s because of its ability to cover the riflemen from a distance, just like snipers. These players also bear an important role and they must not be taken for granted.
AWPer/Snipers: are self-explanatory. They buy the AWP (which can be a risk due to its price, as stated on the section above) or the SSG-08 (or Scout, the cheaper bolt-action sniper rifle that deal 70 damage on armored opponents although there's a chance of one-hit killing unarmored ones and cost $1700) and tend to be staying on vantage points to cover their teammates.
Lurkers: are divided to two groups: (a), the ray-tar-dead idiots who never listen to your commands who just die with their AWP/AUG/SG553/M249/G3SG1/SCAR-20 for the enemy to pick-up, and (b), the useful ones who strays with the team to give information to their teammates on enemy positions and/or kill the unsuspecting targets.

Things to do when doing a cooperative role:
1: Buy utilities, such as flashbangs, smoke grenades, frag grenades, flame bombs.
2: If throwing the said grenades, always call out when you're going to throw or where you're going to make it land so that your teammates use it to their advantage.
3: Never take a site alone, wait for your teammates to be with you so the job would be a lot easier.
4: Always check your flank, watch for the positions where the enemies might hide our rotate (an act where a player flanks you, catching you off guard.)

Things to do when lurking:
1: Buy decoys. Throw it on positions where you think the enemy is very close.
2: If your teammates need help, get over to them. It may cost you the round.
3: When lurking on a certain bombsite and there's nobody, call out your teammates so that they'd be with you and plant the C4, if you're a Terrorist; or call your teammates to go to the other site if you're a CT.

To be continued.
