It's fairly open with few buildings although many physical obstacles which makes it quite interesting compared to other maps.
COH2 could do with more North African maps like this rather than just focusing on the western front.
For the veteran players:
+ very balanced sides
+ new area (desert) quite nice to watch the details
+ good map size
+ Diverse terretories... from fields for (heavy and light) vehicles to walls and bushes for close infantry combat
+ lot of cover for early game
- late game tank or arty map (like a lot of 4v4 maps)
- less undestroyable cover.. in late game you have to play smart with mines against tank rushes..but hey its a desert map ;)
My conclusion
Over all a very cool 4v4 desert map which is hopefully soon in the ranked system included
i dont know how this Bee De Riceman is playing light vehicles and snipers but in this map its definitely working... the map can be played similarly to Redball...
- He is my friend and he created this, wait wut !!:D!!
- Optimized graphic for low specs PC
- Big fuel Tanks, yes we all love Fuel
Cons:
- There is no room for light amour, if player set some mines up, put AT or Pzfaust -> light amour useless. Light amour need much skills, they are not for noob
- Map control total broken, push mid , who stronger is winner.
- Late-game scenario only for heavy amour & arty, arty>push> repair> push> repair > usw..
- why we need sniper in this map ? too many object, which cant be destroyed
