The trajectory is in a helix pattern, resembling DNA.

After travelling slightly past the opponent, it will return to the user.
Because of it's speed and returning attribute, it can cover a surprising amount of area for it's average cost and hit quite reliably, even against people who are above you. Even if it misses once, it may hit them again on the way back.

However, it's not great at catching people who are constantly dashing. It's also not as useful as when you try to hit someone on the ground while in the air, since it's likely going to collide into the ground before it can return.
