描述


More gemstones for more sparkly bases!

Semiprecious stones: amethyst, chalcedony, citrine, garnet, lapis, quartz, serpentine, and turquoise. Stats are similar to vanilla jade. These gems can be mined, purchased, or deep drilled.

Precious stones: diamond, emerald, ruby, and sapphire. These are rare, valuable, and beautiful. Precious stones cannot be found as surface ore, but only deep drilled or traded for.

Both tiers of gemstones are accepted by royal tribute collectors.

Safe to add mid-game, and the gemstones will spawn on new maps. Removing it might cause problems.

It seems like there is a conflict with Jewelry (I'm putting Gemstones before Jewelry like recommended). But still I do have diamonds on the surface with the material description that comes from Jewelry (the one with people suffering). So it seems Gemstones aren't overwriting it as Gemstones should only feature diamonds underground. Is it how those mods are supposed to work together?

@MasterOfBacon- Still on the to-do list.

I'm trying to figure out the best way to do them: Removing duplicates is easy, but would also remove all of the duplicate from any in-progress games. I don't want to remove someone's masterwork amethyst sculpture!

I am so excited you told me it works mid game, like Jade is cool but I was like "What if there was other precious gemstones" and along comes your awesome mod :)

Can I ask you another question will your mod work with the other gem mod for 1.2

Is there any way we can get gemstone floors? I would love to see that happen :O

You can add it mid-game, and everything will work. New maps will have them, you can get them from traders. Removing it might cause problems. This goes for all gem, ore, and stone mods unless they say otherwise. Updating the description!

The metal mod probably works on 1.2 even if it's not updated
