LSI Heavy IV Tanker

The fourth addition in Lakeside Industries' 'Heavy' series cargo ships: the tanker. This one might be particularly useful for those who already established a foothold in space, and now need to haul fuel and light cargo to-and-from orbit. But keep in mind that while the ship was designed to be comfortable even at the end of a long shift, it is not suitable for deep-space missions, or to be a home away from home.

Its main features are:

• 40 large H2 + 5 O2 tanks, capable of holding 200,000 m³ and 500 m³ gas respectively.
• Main engines are placed on rotatable nacelles to enable planetary VTOL.
• An elevated and pressurized bridge, a spacious main deck and an engineering/lower deck.
• No armor to maintain a good thrust-to-weight ratio and fuel economy.
• To offset this vulnerability, the ship utilizes DarkStar's Defense Shield Mod. You can load the ship without it if you wish, it will cause no issues. If you decide to use it, make sure to activate shields after pasting/building the ship.
• Nonetheless, military escort should be provided when flying through unsafe space, as the tanker has no weapons.
• The ship contains decorative blocks from both DLC's. If you load it without them, the bridge will need patching, and the walkways will have to be rebuilt with vanilla catwalks.
• Three programmable blocks for your scripts, one already loaded with MMaster's Automatic LCDs 2.
• Three extendable refueling arms that allow you to keep a safe distance from large ships / stations.
• Extendable landing gear that helps you remain level on uneven ground.
• A large reactor and a generous battery array to function as a mobile power plant, should need be.
• Limited Ice processing capacity.
• Artificial gravity.
• Landing pad for a small personal spacecraft.
• Survival friendly, can be built in a few hours.

Recommended crew: 1 or 2 engineers.
Dryweight: 1127 tons. Cargo space: 842 m³ (2x Large Containers) + 16 m³ for Ice only (4x H2/O2 Generators)

The ship's thrust-to-weight and cargo capacity are tuned to enable a safe landing on an Earth-like planet, when fully loaded with ice and carrying a small personal craft. (20 t)
Recommended max safe landing weight: 3476 tons Gross, 2349 tons DWT

Max take-off weight: 10100 tons (Gross) 8973 tons DWT
