Also, you personally stealing or not stealing doesn't matter that much, though it isn't irrelevant. The big disagreement comes from you promoting the strategy or offering it as viable.
But yes, good luck out there. We are both punishing thieves, even if it's not perfect, that's ultimately the most important thing. We will probably list each other as consequence of our playstyle differences but at least we will make the game harder for stealers and easier for splitters.
And for the record, I do not always steal from Defaults, regardless of how you're trying to paint me. I offered it as a legitimate alternative to the "Split Only" high stakes strategy; note I said clearly "if that's your cup of tea".
I don't mind your other criticisms. I made this guide in an attempt to spread the word about cashing out after stealing in order to prevent the very scenario you mentioned. Whether or not follow it is obviously your choice.

As for stealers pretending to be thief hunters, I consider that a non-problem. Imagine a high karma thief not on your list and not in any stealer organisation. Now contrast that to the exact same thing but also in addition to that they are pretending to be a thief hunter. If they steal you list them if they split you don’t. They don’t gain any additional advantage by pretending to be thief hunters because they will be found out exactly the same way as other thieves, namely when they steal.
