All Controller Key-assignments of the Xbox One Gamepad:

(spamming) the "A", or "Y", or the "LT" or "RT" buttons = to break up locked doors.
"A" button = to open a normal doors.
"Left Stick" or "D-Pad" = for walking.
"start" or "select" = to open or close the menu.
"Y" = for open the collected Diarypage in the mainmenu, (if press "F1" is called in a green text message).
