Autoponics - Automatic Hydroponics


Autoponics adds an advanced hydroponics basin that automatically sows and harvests its crop.

Warning: this mod is deprecated and will not support Rimworld versions >1.4.

Details:
  • The automatic hydroponics basin. Acting as an advanced drop-in upgrade to regular hydroponics, this device can automatically sow and harvest any hydroponics-compatible crop!
  • The basin requires 90 steel, 10 plasteel, 1 advanced component, and the Hydroponics and Fabrication research nodes to construct. It also consumes 140 watts when powered - twice as much as a standard basin.
  • Each basin has two toolbar buttons: one to immediately cut/harvest its contents regardless of growth stage, and one to toggle the suspension of sowing new crops.

  • Autoponics is automatically compatible with any crop mod, such as Vanilla Plants Expanded!
  • Autoponics should be safe to add to an existing save. You can also remove it mid-save, but deconstruct any automatic basins first.
  • Don't hesitate to leave a comment if you run into a bug, but PLEASE include any relevant information from the debug log if you do so.

@SomewhereOutInSpace Hey There! i really like and appreciate your autoponics mod! i was wondering though if you might be able to make a few different configurations of it? like a 2x4 and 4 x4 to go with the 1x4 you currently have? with resource cost and power consumption scalled accordingly so we dont have to place say 8 plots if were doing a big farm expansion? :) let me know your thoughts. thanks! and keep up the great mod work!

+ since the mod does it automatic the colony doesn't harvest them, only if I force them to do it
