The Ultimate Quake Patch for DOSBox
由 OpenRift 制作
Ever wanted to run the original DOS version of Quake but don't want to go through the long setup of DOSBox, CD music image files, and making it easier to launch? Keep reading fool!

This patch adds a more in-depth menu system for launching Quake in DOSBox. With this patch, you're able to launch a handful of mods, play online with other DOSBox players via IPX emulation, and play offline multiplayer with bots.

You can download the patch from my ModDB page here:

IMPORTANT
1. This particular patch is meant for the version of Quake released on Steam and most other releases for Windows and WILL NOT work properly with GOG's Quake: The Offering, I have a separate patch that you can find on my moddb page linked above.
2. You MUST have Mission Packs 1 and 2 installed in the directory if you want to launch them from this patch.
3. This WILL OVERWRITE any pre-existing autoexecs you have in any of your directories, so be sure to back them up if you don't want your stuff erased.
Installation
1. Extract the content to your Quake installation.
2. Right click on launcher.bat, create a shortcut, customize it how you like it, and put it wherever you want.
3. Double-click your shortcut and enjoy :)
Frikbot Setup
In order to spawn in frikbots for an offline multiplayer game, you will need to consult the bots.cfg in the frikbot folder and bind a key to each of the appropriate impulses.
CTFBot+ Setup
In the ctfbotp folder is an executable called "ctf_bot_coordinator.exe" click on it and configure it how you see fit. Once you open it, most of it should be self explanatory, just remember to compile the progs.dat file whenever you make changes.
