描述
The Macedonian Wars
by Lightning_strike97

Tensions between the ancient kingdom of Macedon and its mortal rival, the Roman Republic, are rising as the successor king Philip V asserts his kingdom's power over the Aegean Sea and its many city states.
The recent Macedonian invasion of Pergamon, a long-time Roman ally, has caused the crisis to reach boiling point, and the Consul has ordered the full might of Rome to intervene in Greece.
Before long, Titus Quinctius and his legions will meet the phalanxes of Philip V on the plains of Cynoscephalae in a titanic struggle to decide the fate of the classical Hellenic world. Who will be victorious?

Player 1 (Blue) - Pontus (Byzantines)
Player 2 (Red) - Rome (Italians)
Player 3 (Green) - Celts (Celts)
Player 4 (Yellow) - Ptolemaic Kingdom (Saracens)
Player 5 (Teal) - Seleucid Empire (Persians)
Player 6 (Purple) - Macedon (Franks)
Player 7 (Grey) - Thrace (Goths)
Player 8 (Orange) - Pergamon (Byzantines)

All players should set their civs corresponding to their player numbers as listed above.

To better represent ancient warfare and to preserve proactive and offensive gameplay, many units and buildings are disabled. The Imperial Age is also disabled.
Disabled units and buildings include Stone Walls, Stone Gates, Castles, Mangonels. Scorpions are limited to 5 (10 for Rome) and Warships to 30. Watch towers are also limited to 20 (25 for P5).

Each faction has unique victory conditions. Once they are fulfilled, victory is immediate, so you must take care to be vigilant and see if anyone is about to complete their victory conditions so that you can attempt to stop them.
Rome, Pergamon, Macedon and the Seleucids all have options for an allied victory with one other faction, but otherwise, victory can only be achieved solo.
Every faction also has a set of unique abilities, usually including several special unit spawns or purchasers which can decide the strength of your army. Some factions also have quests they can fulfill to gain a bonus.
There are 24 city locations marked by gaia torches around the map. Depending on their size, you can construct town centres or outposts in them to conquer them. Each controlled city provides taxes of 500 food, 500 wood, 400 gold, and
(for major, TC, cities only) 50 stone. Lots of cities are required for the victory conditions of other factions, so holding one can sometimes be a liability and make you a target.

Despite the often linear, set-in-stone nature of the victory conditions, diplomacy can play an important part in your victory. You can declare war on or ally with any faction at any time, if it suits you. Remember this and use it wisely.

Civillian units are limited to 30.
Resources should be set to standard.
Visibility should be set to explored.
Population limit is 250.

Lead your kingdom to glory and dominate the classical meditteranean through war or adept negotiation. Happy conquests.

Hm. That is very odd - in what way couldn't he host it, did it simply not appear in the scenario list, or did it break etc. when selected it?
drzoidberg 2020 年 2 月 22 日 下午 3:12

As Andi has already ceaselessly told me, player 3's location is geographically incorrect, as it is beyond the Danube. However, green is supposed to represent the Kingdom of Tylis, which was very very Celtic and not Dacian, but realistically, they should be further south. Sorry.
