I have 100% the rest but scarecrow ( scarecrow isn't listed in game but still) and don't have the achievement.

EDIT to my response:
1. Red Wastes quest that makes you travel to The Wall and kill 5 mimics. Kill all. Go back to Red Wastes. Abandon the quest and redo the quest.

Two ways:
1. Red Wastes quest that makes you travel to The Wall and kill 5 mimics. Kill all. Abandon the quest. Go back to Red Wastes and redo the quest.

If you've already finished the quest,
2. In the Temple of Broken Balance, make your way to level 2. Find the room where the mimic is. Kill the mimic, then escape. Escaping with push you out of the mimic room into the previous room. Just go back to the mimic room and kill the mimic only. The kill counts when the mimic is killed, not when the battle ends.

They are not to be done (do not even exist in some versions of the game) for the trophy. These creatures should not be taken into account, even if the guide mentions them. (Scarecrow) :tso2_Nathan:

A follow-up note to those: the end boss room in High School has 7 of these, if you kill some and then run away, re-enter the room, relatively easy spawns

You know those enemies with the x's on their faces that turn into random enemies on their first turn? What are they, and is there a bestiary page for them?

I figured it out. It's not locked. If you don't have the deluxe edition, you don't need anything from the grinding farm.
