I totally agree. I spend an insane amount of time in this game. I absolutely am not ready to stop anytime soon.

It needs to start paused by default, since it is a building game, as well as a sim. Maybe that will happen in the future. yes, I would also love for the crossbreeding to be an option for at least a few animals.

Well that sucks :P i had to delete one of my zoos cause i forgot to pause it and it was bankrupt good bye to all my arctic wolves albino peacocks reindeer and my bengal tigers and tourtiqses

I don't think crossbreeding is in the game. At least I have had no success with it. It may be in the future. I hope so. I have also tried Polar Bears and Grizzlys with no luck. They ignore each other.
