Np, glad it's still helping people out!
I found the solution for the Chess / Brittany Bug. You just have to wait 1 minute when it freeze,it seems the timing is totally off. After waiting for 1 minute, the game should just work fine and will go on. Hope it helps someone out there
As my previous comment. Sadly this guide was made in the Windows 10 area, before windows 11 even existed. This is why it probably doesn't work on newer operating systems. I do not own Windows 11 to test tis myself since I don't have spare money to buy a new pc that supports windows 11.
Tried following both your guides. Any advice how to get this working on WIN 11 ?
Glad it worked out for you and thanks for the tip. I thought it was already linked in the other guide, but alas I forgot back then ; )
It should be safe to combine the two, but it seems even with this fix there are still people who seem to have strange game crashes. So I can't 100% guarantee this will solve your specific issue. ; )
