描述
Description
Lower volume or turned off sounds that I find annoying.

Goals
One stop shop for my ears to rest easy.

Details
Affected Sounds and Buildings
  • Large torch posts (now completely silent, since stacking gets too obnoxious).
  • Corpse Flies (still produce sounds, but at a much lower rate, volume and at closer proximity).
  • Water Well (still produces rather loud sounds, but you need to be really close to hear it).

Notes
If you find other similar sounds (overly loud repetitive loops) that you consider to be annoying please let me know and I might just add them to this mod.

Compatibility
This should be compatible with any other mod that does not change the same sounds and buildings. If it does, then the one lower on the load order should take priority.

@haas Sorry for the mega late response - I used the FCS, which is the modding tool the game provides.

Thanks for all of the other suggestions, however I think they might be a bit out of the scope of this mod :beeped:

hey there, if you're still checking this, can i put in a request for the "pause" or "open trade window" sound? it's super obnoxious in my opinion. or point me to the files and/or software you use to fix this? thanks

Hello, thank you for this mod, do you know if this is possible to remove the zone transition sound (and text ?). I settled near a border and this is insane.

Im in the shem desert and the endless winds are killing me
its so damn loud

dunny thing is I extended the base into the swamp and teh ambient there is just some rain
I regret my base location so much xD

Thanks for the torch fix. The roaring of Iron Spider engines and the growls of gorillos irritate me.
