General Tips
- Every time you’re trying to achieve a high combo, it’s always good to have one thing in mind: Don’t get hit! Taking damage restarts your combo. Considering each area is short, it’s best to do it from the very start. Combo achievements and No Damage challenges go in hand-to-hand together.
Another thing you could do to keep the combo alive is to wait to grab the last stars that spwans after destroying the last enemies/blocks of a section because the transition of sets of enemies can take awhile in some levels and in that period of time you will have those stars. If you wait too long without grabing stars or hitting anything the combo dies.

- If you see a pink block, try to hit it! It contains an heart inside. Pink blocks will also make a specific sound everytime they appear on stage.

- When you have to hit objects to spawn flying squirrels, always hit those objects from below. When doing so, the squirrels will spawn from above, usually one above and two for each side. This is the best way to release those cuties and still have time / space to avoid or hit them.

- Always remember to change your pet accordingly. Each pet offers a different attack that will be helpful in specific levels. If you’re not sure which one to take, try different ones or follow the advice in the guide below.

- Some enemies are strikeable and it’s possible to hit them in a stacked way to create a combo chain or expend the damage trajectory. This isn’t always possible due to these objects positions, however if you train your angles you can perform massive damage even on bosses.
Level 1-1

The adventure begins! - Clear Set 1-1

Float like a butterfly - Clear Set 1-1 without getting hit

Block Breaker - Defeat 100 blocks on Set 1-1

HackySack - Do 3 Keep-ups on Set 1-1

Perfect Striker - Defeat all strikeable enemies on Set 1-1

Level 1-2

Cloudy with a chance of Rackets - Clear Set 1-2

Fly like an Eagle - Clear Set 1-2 without getting hit

Fighting Dreamers - Defeat 30 enemies on set 1-2

Super Combo - Get a 150 hit combo on Set 1-2

With your head in the clouds
- Puff every cloud on Set 1-2

Platanorr Boss (Phenomenal Provider of Potassium!!!)

Banana Split - Defeat Platanorr!

Glide like a Seagull - Defeat Platanorr without getting hit

Just wing it - Defeat Platanorr without striking any balls

Extra Tips

-Do you have enough potassium to defeat the very first boss? I’m sure you do, and Platanorr becomes extremely easier if you take a full grown pet, as can be seen in the video.
The attacks are simple and after a few tries they become predictable. Watch out for the tentacle-like attacks and use the extra bananas for more damage, but don’t take unnecessary risks.

-Just wing it achievement is much harder, and your pet can be used, since its attack doesn't count as normal projectiles. If not, focus on using the bananas in stagger attacks. Hitting multiple bananas creates an extra damage combo. If you’re having issues, just hit them one at a time.

-Special attention to when the spacial spikes appear, just play more defensive and wait for openings and don’t rush. Also, depending of your position at the time when Platanorr is spwaning spikes, that same position will be where the spikes will gather more (and stay there for the ramaining of the fight). So, plan your position and stay in one place so that you will have more free space on other sides of the screen.
Level 2-1

Welcome to the jungle - Clear Set 2-1

Flutter like a Hummingbird - Clear Set 2-1 without getting hit

Hyper Combo - Get a 200 hit combo on Set 2-1

The Witch - Do 4 Keep-ups on Set 2-1

My personal space - Avoid all Tanukis on set 2-1

Extra Tips

-Aren’t those flying squirrels cute? Yes, they are, but to avoid them, follow the steps on the video. Some areas are tricky, as seen at 1:03. Just focus on those squirrels falling from above. Don’t worry too much about taking a hit or two, as long as you see them falling, you can plan your space.
Another intense moment at 1:39 where tons of squirrels fall from above. But check closely in the video, as we can avoid a huge amount of them by rolling to the left and hitting the last 2 or 3 squirrels.

-As for the final boss, try your best to hit the falling brown spikes from below. Hitting them from bellow splits the squirrels into three, and if you stay below you can just hit one and avoid the other two. This will grant you a safe space from possible grabs, and still throw one to damage the boss. It’s highly recommended that you take a full grown pet, to deal a massive amount of damage!
Level 2-2

Raiders of the lost Racket - Clear Set 2-2

Master Combo - Get a 200 hit combo on set 2-2

Crowd Control - Strike 30 Tanukis on set 2-2

Winners don't use spores! - Avoid all spores on Set 2-2

Extra Tips

-Level 2-2 have one major challenge, which is avoiding the mushroom spores. We all know drugs are bad, so what’s the best way to avoid them? Easy, first don’t take candy from strangers… errr, I mean, spores! Don’t take any spores. Once they stuck to a place their effect will last, even when the dust remains. Make sure you get your timings right and be patient. Don’t rush and wait for the effect to completely disappear.

-For the final boss the challenge is much higher… But there’s a trick you can use. Every time you feel you can’t avoid the spikes and the spores, go for the spikes. I-frames make you resistant to the spores. As long as the character takes damage and gets those 2 seconds of invincibility for recovering, mushroom spores will not affect you.

-If you don’t want to play dirty, use the roll and strike the mushroom with your pet’s attack. If you don’t have one, avoid all the spores and wait for the perfect opportunity to hit the brown spikes from below, like previously said in the General Tips.

Soar like a Pidgeon - Clear Set 2-2 without getting hit

Luchanuki Boss (!Lovely Large Luchador!)

El Campeón! - Defeat Luchanuki!

Cuadrangular de la muerte - Avoid all Tanukis while fighting Luchanuki

Rush like a Swallow - Defeat Luchanuki without getting hit

Extra Tips

-Defeating the Luchanuki without taking damage, is like moving from one house to another, with all the furniture on your back. Luckily, we only have to deal with chairs!
First, take your pet with you and if it's a full grown one you can deal a great damage right at the start. If you want to hit the chairs, hit them from below. Like specified in General Tips. Being dragged by those cute rodents might look cool, but Luchanuki is fast and you need to roll.

-When the boss creates two duplicates, as seen at 0:26, two of them are fake. The fake Luchanukis are shaking (probably have cramps). If you hit the real Luchanuki it's guarantee he won't perform a dash (Dash seen at 0:52). If you miss your opportunity, try to hit at least one doppelganger and thus the equation becomes much simpler. If you miss hitting them just keep rolling to have the advantage of avoiding him when the time comes.

-When the stars spawn, he's twice as hard, but make sure to keep a safe space and do not take risks. At this phase Luchanuki will dash against you, twice in a row. Just be patient and go for the easier balls to projectile. If you still have your pet, use it for mass damage.

Pro Tip:
- If you like to play risky, you can keep a flying squirrel grabbed on you for a while, and kick it at the right time. This is dangerous and not recommended, unless you like to live on the edge! Risky but can be rewarding if luck is on your side.
Level 3-1

Livin' in the City - Clear Set 3-1

Drift like a Macaw - Clear Set 3-1 without getting hit

Awesome Combo - Get a 250 hit combo on Set 3-1

Sneaky sneaky - Avoid all spotlights on Set 3-1

Racket-Signal - Destroy all spotlights on Set 3-1

Extra Tips

- Destroying all spotlights is probably the hardest challenge, since having a pet is crucial and to remain with your pet it requires a no-damage performance. Using strikeable enemies helps, but as you can see in the video, using the pet is almost obligatory in specific situations such as seen at 1:53.
Level 3-2

City Escape - Clear Set 3-2

Hot Fuzz - Strike 12 Copdrones on Set 3-2

The Racket is undeterred! - Destroy 15 barriers on Set 3-2

Fighting Gold - Defeat 50 enemies on Set 3-2

- Here it's best to take a buddy with you who can deal damage (Like Batata or more preferable the little lamp) to destroy those enemies that forms a barrier (RoadMage). Also, you have to be seen by the spotlights in order to destroy copdrones.

- You can farm more RoadMages at the end, do not kill the fox until you get 15 RoadMages destroyed.

- These goes hand-in-hand with the Fighting Gold achievement where you have to destroy 50 enemies. Do them all in one go!

Shoot like a Parakeet - Clear Set 3-2 without getting hit

- Go with the little lamp as your buddy and destroy all the spotlights you can to avoid detection. This buddy makes this achievement much more doable.
MegaFoxorah Boss (Masked Mixture Of Minions!!!)

Teenagers with attitude - Defeat MegaFoxorah!

I am the night! - Avoid all spotlights while fighting MegaFoxorah

Swoop like a Bee-Eater - Defeat MegaFoxorah without getting hit

Extra Tips

- This fluffy and cute fox is extremely challenging, but there's only one way to make it easier: Avoid the spotlights! Yep, as you may have noticed sometimes the fox releases a laser beam that deals a huge amount of damage. Avoid being spotted and the boss won't release its anger, just like in the video.

- You can be more patient or less aggressive and less focused on dealing damage when the spotlights are aiming for you.

- If you notice, there is a pattern when one yellow fox spwans from the bottom and afterwards spwans a group of red foxes. This is your best window of opportunity to do damage without being injured yourself or being spotted because right away it will also spwan a yellow fox on top of the screen and a group of red foxes. So, as soon as you see a yellow fox spwaning at the bottom hit it and than go straight to the top and hit the next yellow fox as well as the group at red foxes!
Level 4-1

Wizard Mode - Clear Set 4-1

Flipper - Keep MechaBuddy alive on Set 4-1

Demolition Kid - Defeat 110 blocks on Set 4-1

Aviate like a Hornbill - Clear Set 4-1 without getting hit

Captain Obvious - Find 20 hidden points on Set 4-1

- For the Captain Obvious achievement there are 3 sections where you can find them:
  • One is at minute 0:44 You will see little red spots on screen. If you pass through them while rolling or hit a ball that touches them you will "discover them" and gain somo points in the process.
  • At minute 1:56 there's 2 spots, but in this case they are blue and they are on the top right side of the screen (one is hidden behind a block, you have to destroy them first).
  • More Blue spots at minute 3:37.

- For the Demolition Kid is best if you go with the little birdy as it will help you destroy those blocks! Also Keep your MechaBuddy alive for more pinball awesomeness and destruction (and to do the Flipper achievement). At minute 4:39 try to hit the popcorn in the direction of the blocks, it's not easy but it can be done. Again, use your buddy (the little lamp might be more useful in destroying blocks here) to destroy them too.

Extra Tips:
- When MechaBuddy transforms into a pinball machine, you should smash the strike button fast because it will also make your mecha friend also strike as fast.

- Don't forget that every ball do damage to your MechaBuddy!
Level 4-2

TILT - Clear Set 4-2

Best Mechabuddies forever! - Keep MechaBuddy alive on set 4-2

Pinball Wizard - Destroy 15 bumpers on Set 4-2

Dance like a bird-of-paradise - Clear Set 4-2 without getting hit

- Go with the little lamp as your buddy to help you destroy enemies and bumpers. Also, use the popcorn to destroy bumpers, blocks and enemies. Keep MechaBuddy alive too, to help you destroy them.

- Keeping MechaBuddy alive is way more harder than before but a must, especially for the no-damage run. At minute 1:05, hordes of flying ducks will come at you shooting balls. Wait until those balls gathers all together in one place and strike them all at once! You have to pay attention real close as not to mistake balls for starts (this section is very chaotic but not as hard as the other ones to come...)

- The next sections just try to keep MechaBuddy alive, until it transforms into a pinball machine, but don't take unnecessary risks! MechaBuddy can take some hits so if you're going for a no-damage run don't be too much of a heroe.

- The last section, or the miniboss is the hardest part... And when I say hard I mean HARD! It's really easy to take damage in this fight and that's why you will need all the help you can get:
  • As I said earlier, keep MechaBuddy alive!
  • Watch out for the next incoming ball! When there's no ball on screen, the boss will release another ball at you. You have to pay attention to this! Also, you need to see the timing he throws the ball because a little bit before he does it, you need to start moving to another place in order to dodge.
  • Keep smashing that strike button! If you do this, it will be much harder for the ball to disappear from the screen and thus, preventing the boss from shooting another ball at you.
  • Keep an eye out for those lights! They will start blinking right before they send those beam lights. Eventually the pinball will destroy some of this lights and you can stay in that place, free of beam lights.
  • Finally, keep away from those annoying spikes.

Ultra Combo - Get a 450 hit combo on Set 4-2

Tennistar Boss (Triple Techno Threat)

Match Point! - Defeat Tennistar

Hover around like some sort of weird ET. - Defeat Tennistar without getting hit

Ace! - Defeat Tennistar using less than 50 strikes.

- To complete all the achievements your best bet would be to take a full grown buddy with you that can deal damage to him (Batata or Fagulha). Besides that, you can try to hit the ball in a way that it takes longer to reach the other side of the court (like in minute 1:03 of the video) so it would give your buddy more time to recharge his power.

- Other than that, try to stay at the center of the tennis court after hitting the ball as it will make much easier to reach the next strike of Tennistar.

- After reaching Super Sayan Mode (when his counter reaches 5) Tennistar will make you see stars. You need to focus even more to deflect his balls while evadind the stars. Hanging in there as you only need his counter to reach 1. Afterwards his head will try to hit you and you only need to strike it against his body. If it doesn't hit his body, you're not gonna gain extra points but who cares? He is hard as it is.
Korrg Boss (Knavish Killer Kanine Keiser) + The End...? + Credits

Dog days are over - Defeat Korrg!

The End...? - You beat the game! Or did you....?

Korrg 1st Phase:

- First of all, bring your buddy dog to the party as he also wants to eat some snacks! Seriously though, just brim him. He will be a source of health to you and help you survive this insanity.

- First part is relatively easy. Just avoid being near the edges of the screen as it can spwan pyramids, spikes and balls. Strike the balls in a diagonal direction as it is easier to hit Korrg that way.

- Second part (minute 1:08), try to move wtih the lasers while striking the balls when they aproach you.

- Third part is really tough! The best way I see to dodge this bullet hell is to go through the "holes" with the balls. As you try to dodge, hit the balls but keep an eye out for incoming spikes or balls from the edges of the screen (minute 1:40)! We find it easier if you try to dodge the first wave from the top and than from the middle but it's a matter of practice and you getting used to this fight. Sometimes it's easier to dodge from the bottom for example (minute 1:54).

- Fourth part (minute 2:12) is the same as the second but with less space to move around. As you can see you need to move a little not only to the right/left but also up/down at the same time while striking balls.

- Fifth part is more of the same as Third part.

Korrg 2st Phase:

- This phase is actually easier than the first if you play it cool and not aggressively.

- Try to hit the cluster of balls if possible. As you will come to notice, this cluster of balls comes from certain pyramids Korrg sends.

- At minute 4:17 Korrg will go on a race with his ufo to try to catch you. It's very easy to dodge him actually. You have 3 "roads" and he can't appear from the bottom road to the top without passing through the middle! So, if you are on the top and he is on the bottom, he will appear next in the middle and than on the top. Knowing that makes it extremely easy to dodge his attempts at knocking you down. (Yeah I got hit but I didn't figured out yet this little trick :p )

- In the final part he will spwan pyramids to the bottom and top of the screen that spwans balls. Just try to hit the balls you can but remember, be patient, this is actually the easiest part!
Mega and Real Korrg Boss (This is only accessible once you beat all Levels Challenges)

Black Magic Capybara - Save the goddess!

The End! - Get your well-deserved rest!

- This is the last boss of the game and hardest since it's so easy to get injured here. So, I advise you again to bring man's best friend with you err... I mean the good doggy not the evil one.

- In the first part you will notice 2 kinds of waves. In one it's advisable to dodge through the middle and hit that ball in front of you. On the other one you have 3 options of dodging: Going through the middle is the safe bet (go through it if you lost your bubble and are wating for your buddy to recharge his power) however you need to destroy those little dogs that are constantly spwaning, after awhile, from mega korrg's mouth and if you wait too long all of the puppies will be revived and your progress lost... So, in this second wave go either through the top or the bottom and hit that ball!

- You can finally hit his uvula??? Well, there's something inside it, that's fo sure... Anyways, keep in mind that after 5 hits, he will try to bite you so get out of there!

- Mega Korrg will have the "tentacles attack" throughout the fight. It isn't hard to dodge those ones, just roll with it.

- In the second part, again, there are 2 new kinds of waves. In the first one he will throw at you 3 balls, each one accompanied by a cluster of lasers. You need to be fast as you will want to hit all 3 balls while dodging the cluster of lasers. The second wave will have you hit 4 balls, 2 at the same time, but now they are being fired in a vertical way. It's actually not that hard to dodge this waves once you get used to it. He will shoot in this order: 1->1->2->1->2

- The third part is the hardest of them all (and really annoying!). I can't say much here unfortunetly. You will have to move with a lot of caution since the space is very tight and try to figure out what balls you can hit. Don't forget that if you wait too long all the dogs will eventually spwan so that's why it's so frustrating! In this case it takes a lot of practice and luck I guess. Try to pay attention to what happens through our video, some lasers comes slow while others faster. Usually a puppie will be shooting balls in one place and thant move on to another one. There are only 2 possible places this puppy will shoot from.

- After all that chaos you will come to see korrgs true form and what an adorable doggy he is!! Now, don't lose patience right at the end! He will teleport to specific places. With that knowledge, hit him from a safe position and you will do just fine!

- AND THE END!!! Good for you, you completed the game! Congratulations, now you can rest, or can you...? Yeah, unfortunetly there's an hardcore achievement where you need to play the game in arcade mode. In arcade mode you have to beat the game in one go and health doesn't regenerate... Good luck if you're trying this one out! You can check our arcade mode section if you are interested.

Lore (Warning: Spoilers Ahead)
Glitch in the System

There’s a predominant glitch or disruption within the game’s core. From presentation to general in-game moments. Right on the start, the logo of the developers studio (Double Dash) appears at first glitched, giving an hint that something is not quite right. Later these effects come and go in a subliminal way. In a ending sequence the textures fails to load, showing the original name “Altar.png”, which is a Portuguese and English name for a ceremonial altar.

As can be seen on the image below:

This glitches are part of the lore, and we'll be returning to them. But before that, let's dive into the whole history behind Sky Racket, and the role both Racketboy and Racketgirl have to endure.

The Ancients Forseen it

If you take a closer look at the backgrounds on the level 2-2 (which you can check our video at 1:28), you'll see what it seems to be a segment of events.

First we see the Goddess Capybara having a special sphere and surrounding are 5 planets. All seems to be in harmony.

Like ravens, some entities are attracted to nice and shinning things. The evil Korrg took the sphere by himself, as can be seen here.

After stealing it, the sphere soon turn to black, like it was tainted by his evil intentions at world's domination.

To stop Korrg, the Goddess had a plan. She bestowed two powerful rackets to the chosen ones.

This duo was awaited to save the universe, as the ancients sculpted on the walls.
Players take either the RacketBoy/Girl or both to change what Korrg did by collecting all spheres across the 5 worlds. Doing all the challenges will provide you with a true ending, showing more of the story.

But it wasn't easy saving the galaxy. Our duo would have to fight against Korrg's minions. Korrg himself created an army and built an empire across the 5 worlds. He would transform an harmless banana into a grotesque abomination, rich in potassium, just to stop you on your heels. The closer our duo got, the worse would become. Racket Boy/Girl will even have "wanted posters" splashed all over the city. They could only count with the help of 4 buddies and their special rackets

After defeating Korrg on the fifth planet (The Glitched World) one would think it would be the end... Wrong! If our duo got the time to collect all the shperes (doing all the challenges) they would ascend to this special place where the tainted sphere was kept. With the help of all spheres collected, the tainted sphere kept in this altar would shatter, revealing another grotesque figure of Korrg.

The last and most intriguing engraving. After all that fight, one would reach the true ending of the game so what does that picture represents? We see what appears to be racketgirl with someone putting his/her hands on racketgirl's shoulders. We still not sure what's the real meaning of this but it seems quite ominious...
Korrg, the perfect Pet?
Korrg fallows the player whatever he goes, destroys planets and spread chaos. However... once you discover his true form, he is an adorable and cute puppy which absolutely looks like a pet.
Pets (or buddies) in Sky Racket have unique abilities and are usually cover within a bubble, that somehow let's them exist in space. Korrg also has one, once you find his true form:

Besides that, there are 5 planets but only 4 buddies... And more interestingly is that inside the Ancient Temple you will see pillars with the engravings or the 4 buddies plus an engraving of "?" Who is this mysterious buddy with a question mark?

Is Korrg the Pet-gone-rogue? Probably! Remember that time when your puppy wanted to go out, and you looked outside and though "Damn, it's raining so much, maybe tomorrow".
Well, there you go. Another rogue-puppie waving destruction over the universe.
Tennistar, the big Mystery!?
Both the final sphere altar and racket altar show similarities, and therefore we can assume its “holy” significance. Besisdes, we all know that in this galaxy, rackets are powerful weapons bestowed by the Goddess. But Wait!! Who is that guy over there!?

It appears that Tennistar though it was cool to have that special red racket and set foot inside the Temple to steal it as you can see in the pictures. But wait again... Why there are 3 rackets instead of 2 like the engravings of the Temple suggests? Hmm...

At first glance, the so entitled tennis star doesn't seem to have any deep motives other then crazy rave parties. We don't know the deals between him and Korrg, but both seem to be allies, or at least go along together. Maybe they went to the same school, who knows!

Truth is that this boss has some VERY interesting traits that no other boss in this game has.
  • For once, he is the only one whom we don't get to see Korrg transforming.

  • He is the only one who actually talks to you by saying "Coward" or "Run". (We spoke to the developers team and it is confirmed that is a reference to a game called "Sinistar" from the 80s era (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sinistar)

  • We see him stealing and wielding another racket that shouldn't exist according to the engravings of the Ancient Temple (a bug in the system? Or maybe some kind of cheat code...).

  • The game crashes after beating him!

  • Afterwards, a blue screen error with a mysterious QR Code appears:

We used a program called "Yandex Translate" to translate japanese into english. It says:

"You need to reboot the PC"
"Error information is collected You can restart it."
    "100% Done"
"For more information in this issue and possible resolutions, see http://windows.com/stopcode"
    "For more information see <url>"
"If you want to cantact a saboteur, please provide this information:"
    "Stop code: SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED"
    "Lost content:Igx64bus.sys

Apparently, from what we have read, it is a blue screen error that usually happened in windows 8 because of outdated software or bad drivers.

The QR Code sends you to a rather bizarre youtube video:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vJVTIOtHabw&feature=emb_title

If you pay attention, there are also references to the game "Sinistar" as well as other clues to the identity of Tennistar:

    • You can see written on the Youtube Video title "Run" and in the discription "be ware".

    • At the end of the video, the picture flashes reaveling yet another reference saying "BewareCowardRunCoward@gmail.com" (maybe we will try emailing him or something):

    • You can see an headphone on the video. Interestingly, who likes raves? Yours truly, Tennistar.

    • It was confirmed by the developers that Tennistar is in fact a Robot.

    • There's something in the video, to the left, that we can't quite understand what it is.

    • Something about the sound that plays on the video make us wonder if it has some ulterior meaning.

Oh, and do you remember when everytime you engage in a boss fight what appears on screen? We will remind you:

The words change from one to another in a glitched way! Seems someone is really watching us and teasing us...

So what can we make of all this?

Only Tennistar knows I guess. He seems to be the real reason behind the glitches in the game and not Korrg. Korrg is supposed to be the villian of Sky Racket but without the glitches! Korrg would have the power to transform 3 tiny foxes into a giant one not because of glitches but because of the power he acquired by stealing the sphere from the Goddess. Korrg is supposed to do all those evil things right from the beginning, it is all part of the normal course of this game called Sky Racket (the Temple engravings further proves this point).

Well, somehow, someone or SOMETHING (Like a robot with a taste for big raves) infected various parts of the game causing it to have glitches, errors, crashes and so on. There's a lingering thought that somehow we didn't beat Tennistar at all, only inside Sky Racket's game that is, but he is still watching us through a computer screen, somewhere... Stalking our every move and when I say we I say we The Players not the playable characters of Sky Racket. Is there a case here of a "Game inside a Game?" We leave that to your imagination.

Hello @rykdrew I played this game when it came out on steam. Back then everything worked perfectly to me.

Boa guia!
I would add that for the co-op arcade achievement, you can just let Player 2 die as soon as possible, so that the two achievements are actually similar.
