Highlander Race - v. 2.0

描述
Updated Highlander Race mod. Changed the OP start around a bit to my liking, and also added a couple of new starts, one more of easy mode versus god mode, and a Kenshi style start as well that showcases some interaction updates for the Highlander Race. They are also now their own race, not a subcategory of the Human race. The race should be completely compatable with all other starts from the base game. Any updates will be from this mod, as the old one will be obsolete as it got corrupted by my lack of knowing what I'm doing.

I am planning on adding some Highlander-unique biome dialogue and truely unique interactions with other factions once I figure out how to do that.

Thanks to those who supported the old version and hopefully the new one will continue to grow.

@Havoc5150 what part of the 1.0 is broken? Can try to address it. My reasoning for keeping both up is because I don't want to delete one and mess up someones save file or something. I believe that I actually managed to update the old version with new features (I'm actually the worst ever with keeping track of versioning). And no prob with making the mod hope you enjoy it!

yay it works. the 1.0 didn't. can you delete teh other version off the workshop since it is broke? Thank you for a nice helpful race for a newb who knows just how over his head he is.

Rip, I've seen that a lot, and not just on this game. I wonder if it's more to do with Steams handling of publishing/updating mods instead of purely clientside/gameside issues :thinking:

XD lmfao i feel that. The 2.0 of this mod is a thing mainly cuz 1.0 got corrupted then deleted accidentally in the process of doing just that lol

I found they weren't that hard, I'd upload them myself but I have a bad habit of shifting to other games/systems at random and not keeping things I make up to date xD

No problemo's, managed to patch it so it works with Genesis (and the Combat Animation overhaul inside) as well as Animation Overhaul and the Dodge Sidestep. All the things I use xD

lmfao yeah kenshi be like that. assuming ur getting the classic penguin waddle run animation xD. Its pretty simple to learn tbh, but lemme know if you have major issues with the patch i can try to make one if you tell me the mods ur using.

Several hours into a game using this only to realize that because it's *it's own race* now I have to patch the combat animation mods I use onto it xD

Time to learn a new thing!
