This is a simple guide on how to skip years worth of work in a single restart. This means you can gain years worth of resources in just a few seconds.

Step one: Open your current game and make sure you have something placed in any tile that is currently gaining resources per second.

Step two: If you are using windows 10 right click on your tool bar and select adjust time. Once this is open be sure to close your game and then turn off "set time" and "set time zone" automatically off.

Step three: Click change under the "set the date and time" section and skip a few years in time and confirm your selection.

Step four: Now you will reopen your game. You will notice an abundance of resources. Then go back into date and time configuration tab; while your current game is still open, and turn on "Set time" and "Set time zone"

Step five: Wash, rinse, and repeat

Lastly, this works on anything that gains resources over time. I have noticed the best results when just skipping ahead around 8 years and no more. If this causes your game to not open it is because your computers clock is too far ahead in time. I am not sure why this happens. Just reset your clock and your game should open.
