DSB Litra MA460 Gold Single set

The Litra MA460 is a danish diesel locomotive used for passenger rail transport, its based upon the german VT 11.5 Which is known as ''the TEE train''.

Built between 1963 and 1966, around 11 engines were delivered to DSB. These trains are capable of reaching speeds up to 160 KM/H, they were in service untill 1990, when they were ultimately discharged.

The Litra MA was common in both single engine and double engine configurations, the double configuration is coupled together by their control cars, and were supposed to unlink when the train reached a certain destination, so both engines would continue as shorter trains.

This is the single set with the DSB winged wheel logo and gold pinstripe, hence the addition of 'gold' in the name.
