Game Tips
When doing challenges, you can deactivate an ability by saving and closing your game. Everything, include gathered Void Mana, will be saved.
Example:
a. Use the ability Void Lure
b. Gather Void Entities to build up your Void Mana
c. In Settings, save your game then exit Idle Wizard
d. Open Idle Wizard and the ability is no longer in use so you can switch it out

Each Rune has a specific reward tied to it. So you can complete a trial on both Kongregate and Steam to get a different reward. The 5 trials will determine how much of that reward you get.
Example:
a. Export your save to the platform you're not currently using
b. Start the easiest Trial of Talent you can
c. Export your save with the stated challenge to the other platform
c. Complete the trial on both platforms
d. The platform which gave the best reward export that save to the other platform and repeat

Experiments can also have their rewards rerolled/switched by using both platforms.
Example:
a. Export your save to the platform you're not currently using
b. Complete some experiments on both platforms to see the possible rewards
c. Choose which platform you want to use when doing experiments

You can claim promo codes on both Kongregate and Steam.
Example:
a. Claim the promo code on either Kongregate or Steam
b. Export your save to the platform you didn't claim the promo code on
c. Claim the promo code again

You can right click your character portrait to bring up the class select page. You can also left click the attribute point icon on you character portrait to open the attribute page.

When doing trails of valor, you can hold left the mouse button on one of the attack options (red, green, or blue). When you release it is when the attack happens. This allows for a quicker reaction time so you can complete these trials with a lower chance of failure.
Realm Tips
Farming Memories:
With the v1.02 update, catalyst memory farming was nerfed but Mystery and eDust memory generation were buffed. Pretty much, longer runs received a huge buff and shorter runs got nerfed.

Tips for Average Realm Switching:
Realm switch as few times as possible for pushing max mysteries/unlocking legacy levels. During your second realm you will progress about 4-6 times as quickly as you did during your first realm.

Make sure you have about 30k green and orange cDust and 10k red and blue cDust before changing realms. You need to reforge your items after a realm switch and you'll need a lot of time and cDust to do it. Green and orange cDust are the most important because they are used to rush items.

Memory perks Expanded Mind (+ Forge slots) and Swift Recalling (Increases Forge speed) will make reclaiming your items a lot better. You want a few points in each and you'll save over 80% of your cDust.

Your first realm switch should be at around 8e3 memories. If you can, push to 1e4 or more.

A Catalyst Memetic (unlocked at e650) spread should look something like this:

Red Catalysts should be your primary focus because they provide the greatest profit increase, followed by blue then green. Generation for all colors is important for the boost to memories from total catalysts collected for your current realm. Green power is virtually useless after the first few levels.

Memetic traps (unlocked at e750) are not as important as Catalyst Memetics. You'll only want to put a few level in each trap. Something like this:

Keep the 2 traps on the outside at a lower level than the inner ones. The 2 on the inside boost profits and the 2 on the outside boost xp and Echos spawn rate.

Source Memetics are unlocked at e850 Mysteries. The first source (under your ingots) should be applied to your burst source. Avoid using this feature on the source with profit boosting upgrades tied to it. On Heretic, this would be Librams. The rest of the Source Memetics can be applied to your remaining sources. For example, this is how I set the sources for Heretic:

You can see Mana Gems are gilded (level 14 blue mana icon to the right of Mana Gems). I have left Librams untouched as to not increase the cost of them resulting in a lower total amount and fewer upgrades. The rest of the Source Memetics can be assigned freely.

For Heretic, you'll want something like this: Incantation > Pet Ability Power > Character Ability Power = Autoclick Profit > Summoning > Evocation
Heretic Quick Guide
Note: This section is a bit outdated but the information is still enough to get you started.

My Skill Sets (SS) --------------------------------------------- My Burst Set

Ignore the enchant distribution.

Important:
1. Ability 5 in set 5, Void Prison, is unlocked at 1e700 Mana. If you're not there, use Conjure Manabeast.

2. Replace ability 5 in set 1 with Spirit of Valor if you aren't past e700.

3. I only get Insight to 175 or 190 because I be use the unique boots "Legacy" (+40 Insight) and the legendary item "Netherfist" (+20 Insight). These will get me the 250 attribute perk to increase Void Mana per Entity. If you don't have legendary "Netherfist", get insight to 175 or 210 for Paragon 29.

3. When you get the attributes for it, swap Legacy for Conjured Spiked Stompers and enchant them.

Attributes:
Dominance > Insight > Patience = Empathy > Intelligence > Mastery = Spellcraft > Wisdom
Always get attribute requirements for items first!

Low attribute point example (Paragon 24 using 850 points): Following the above order!
225 Dom | 175 Ins | 100 Pat | 75 Emp | 150 Int | 75 Mast | 50 SC | 0 Wis
High attribute point example (Paragon 28 using 1190 points): Following the above order!
250 Dom | 190 Ins | 200 Pat | 200 Emp | 150 Int | 100 Mast | 100 SC | 0 Wis
Endgame attribute point example (Paragon 32 using 1550 points): Following the above order!
250 Dom | 250 Ins | 250 Pat | 250 Emp | 200 Int | 200 Mast | 150 SC | 0 Wis

Your items sets should be similar to the following:
1. Pet xp | 2. Void Mana | 3. Incantation | 4. Burst | 5. Head of the All-Eater | 6. Evocation | 7. Dust
More information on these sets can be found below in the Heretic Advanced Guide.

Note: You only need a Head of the All-Eater set if you're below 200 Hallowed Clicks and if you don't have the Redeemer at legendary.

Item set upgrade order:
Burst > Void Entity > Evocation = Incantation = Pet xp

Catalyst distribution:
You want Libram (Grimoire) to have all of your Catalyst Shards.

What a run looks like:
1. Set all spells in SS 5 to autocast, equip pet xp boosting items, and set the Spellhound as your pet. Go through SS 3 and 4 to max out all spell charges.

2. Switch to the Voidterror and back to SS 5 with everything set on autocast. Switch to your HotAE set. This is a copy of your standard Void Boosting armor set with the HotAE set as the weapon. Now you're just going to build Void Mana, Hallowed Clicks (HC), and Auto Clicks (AC) while the weapon charges (charge the Redeemer if you're using it).

3. After building Void Mana for a minute or less and fully charging the weapon you're using, switch to Incantation boosting items and SS 2. Make sure all your Void Traps have a Void Entity in them!

4. Use abilities 4 and 6. At Max HC, use ability 3. Build back up to max HC then switch to SS 1 and use all the abilities while you have your Incantation boosting items on.

5. Now switch to your burst item set. Click on your orb once, buy sources, click on your orb once, buy upgrades, and repeat this process until you're out of HC.

6. Once you have done this once, go back to SS 5 and Void boosting items. Build Void Mana for another minute because you just got many upgrades and should be able to build multiple more exponents of Void Mana.

7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 once more then charge all of your spells. Switch to SS 3 and use abilities 5 and 6. After all spells are fully charged, switch to SS 4 and fully charge all of those spells.

8. Switch back to your Incantation boosting armor and repeat steps 3, 4 and 5 with 1 change. In step 5, after you activate all your abilities and switch to your burst set, activate the HotAE or Redeemer and click on your orb until you're out of HC (Redeemer requires only 1 click to use all HC).

HotAE only step 1:
Switch to SS 5 and activate all of your abilities then equip your Head of the All-Eater set. Using all of your HC, switching to and activating all abilities in SS 5, and switching armor sets should all happen in 10-15 seconds. With the remaining 15-20 seconds you have for charging the weapon, swap out the Void Prison spell for Conjure Manabeast. This will greatly increase your spell shard gains so you can cast more spells and collect more Void Entities.

HotAE only Step 2:
Now you want to repeat steps 3-6 once more. With a fully powered Head of the All-Eater plus some new upgrades, you'll be able to buy hundreds of each source from this burst.

9. Switch to the Archivist, your Evocation boosting Item set, and SS 6. If you don't have a 6th SS, swap to SS 5 and switch Void Prison for Conjure Manabeast, swap Voidbolt for Smite, and swap Void Lure for Relentlessness. Set everything to autocast and build for 30-60 minutes. We do this for total HC, excess HC, AC, and Void Entities, all of which massively boost your profits.
BONUS: If you have T3 pets and 200 Spellcraft, use Greater Chimera to build max sources. Swap out Conjure Manabeast with Ritual of Power and equip incantation reducing items. We do this to boost the power of the 200 Spellcraft attribute which boosts Evo efficiency. Swap back to Archivist and Conjure Manabeast once you have max sources and the 200 Spellcraft attribute to over %500.

10. After about 10-30 minutes and getting all available AC upgrades (they become available depending on your total amount of AC this exile), switch back to the Voidterror and Void boosting items to build Void Mana. Now that you're Building Void Mana again, swap back to SS 5. Build Void Mana for a minute just to get big enough a boost to burst and buy some new upgrade.

11. After you purchase some more upgrades (probably including Void Mana per Entity), build up a massive amount of Void Mana, repeat steps 3-6 as many times as you want. Longer runs might require stopping after step 10. If you have the 200 Empathy attribute, you'll need to do longer runs to boost pet ability power.
T3 pets note: At e550 Mysteries, I've noticed that the Voidlight Amalgam is better for gathering Void Mana but the Voidfiend is better to use when bursting.

I wrote this as I started a run, including every action I made during the run. I have included my saves so you can recreate what I did and see for yourself. Remember that it is usually better to build more HC and AC than the 30 minutes I recommended in step 10. You'll get a huge profit increase if you do plus you'll stack a lot more Smite casts to boost the Voidlight Amalgam if you have it.
Heretic Advanced Guide
Note: This section is a bit outdated but the information is still enough to get you started.

Note: The Pet XP, Void Mana, Incantation, and Dust Generation sets can be used with any class and not just the Heretic! I will be outlining what makes all of the following sets work while including how I use them for the Heretic.

Pet xp ------------------------------------------------------------ Void Mana

Pet XP Breakdown:
This set can be used with any class and any pet. We have the full Falcorner's set and Hallow Eye Pendant for all possible pet xp boosts. Then throw in the unique items Whiplash and Collar of Obedience for pet charging speed. I use the Redeemer just to make sure it gets fully charged at the start of a new exile. Item slots that don't give direct pet xp have items that increase Void Mana (VM) instead. This is because the Voidfiend, Voidterror, And Voidlight gain xp from VM collected and void profits too. This is the first item set I use on an exile. I combine it with Spellhound to max charges on all my spell sets before switching to Voidfiend.

Void Mana Breakdown:
We kept some of the same armor pieces for the pet ability power increases. The pieces that were switched are for Void Mana generation. Both pet ability power and raw VM generation will increase your VM. The boots, Conjured Spiked Stompers are your BIS. However, the unique boots 'Legacy' will save 40 attribute points. This is useful pre e750 Mysts when attribute points are needed elsewhere for milestones.

Pro Tips: You can switch the offhand in both of these sets for Ceaseless Hunger (CH) and the research item for Daemonic Reverse Engineering (DRE). The CH and DRE can be used for your VM, Burst, and Evocation sets to save cDust on leveling and eDust for enchanting. It would be a bit less optimal but it 100% works especially if you're on a budget.

Incantation ------------------------------------------------------ Burst

Incantation Breakdown:
Honestly, nothing fancy going on here. These are literally your BIS items for incantation. However, the back item Timeshroud can be switched for the unique item The Amplifier at 150 Int. At high enchant levels, Timeshroud upgrades to The Amplifier because it provides +1% more incantation per enchant over Timeshroud. The shoulder item, Empowering Shoulderguard, upgrades to Artificer's Shoulderpads at high enchant levels as well (15+) because of that 1% bonus per level. For your legs slot, Folds of Magma will upgrade to Spellweaving Kilt when you get 250 Spellcraft. Final thing to note: we use Rich Bands instead of Precise Wristbands for your wrist slot. We do this for the 4 item set bonus they provide over Precise Wristbands for +25% increased incantation efficiency.

Burst Breakdown:
Again, nothing fancy, just your BIS items for a Heretic burst. The burst set is the most important and should be the first set you max. Again, you can downgrade the offhand to the CH to save both cDust and eDust. The BIS offhand is different for most. It depends on how far into the game you are so I would suggest just using CH until you have the dust to play around with other items. For me, the BIS offhand is Black Vortex. For others, it's the Enigmatic Parchment. Until you get to e600+ Mysteries I would recommend just using CH.

Evocation -------------------------------------------------------- Dust Collection

Evocation Breakdown:
Mostly your BIS items for Evo boosting with Archivist. You can downgrade the offhand, Arcane Accelerator, for the CH and the ring, Spell Helix, for Whiplash. This would save you having to upgrade 2 additional items which is a lot of cDust.

Dust Collection Breakdown:
The shoulders, weapon, and amulet, and trophies are the only items that matter. Artificer's Shoulderpads give 25% more cDust generation. Combine this with the amulet Light of Eighth Star to increase how much cDust your collection bowls can hold. The weapon, Enchanting Membrane, will massively increase your eDust collection so you want to make sure to always use it when doing experiments. Finally, the trophies will increase God xp and further increase eDust income.
Heretic into Dread Quick Guide
Pet xp ------------------------------------------------------------ Void Mana

The pet xp set isn't too important at this point. Switch to this set for a minute or so at the start of build and burst phases to get a few quick levels. This Void Mana set is optimal for max enchants.

Incantation ------------------------------------------------------------ Burst

Optimal equipment for Incantation. This is useful for snapshotting spells. Snapshot casting is when you cast an incantaion spell with this gear then switching to another set. The buff from increased incantation efficiency will persist until the spell is cast again. The burst set is all the best in slot equipment for Dread ascending from the Heretic.

Evocation ------------------------------------------------------------ AFK / Dust

Best Evocation boosting equipment for building Hallowed Clicks with Smite. The AFK set is for doing experiments for enchanting dust.

Spell Sets:

1 - Burst

2 - Snapshot before burst

3 - Spell recharge

4 - Spell recharge

5 - Void Mana building

6 - Smite stacking

Using Spell Sets (SS) 1 and 2:
Before doing a burst switch to SS 2. Cast abilities 4, 5, and 6. At max Hallowed Clicks (HC), cast ability 3 and max out your HC again. Switch to SS 1 and cast abilities 1 and 2. Activate your weapon and click on you orb to consume all HC. Buy any upgrade and mana sources.

Pets Combos:
Building Smite ------------------------------------------------------------ Burst

Pet order matters. The pet on the right is the main pet and has normal scaling. The left pet is more for support and has reduced scaling.
Exorcist Quick Guide
Note: This section is a bit outdated but the information is still enough to get you started.

My Skill Sets (SS) --------------------------------------------- My Burst Set

As for attributes:
Dominance > Spellcraft > Intelligence > Patience > Insight > Mastery > Empathy > Wisdom
Always get attribute requirements for items first!

Low total attribute points example (Paragon 15 about 610 points): Following the above order!
175 Dom | 100 SC | 100 Int | 150 Pat | 25 Ins | 25 Mast | 0 Emp | 10 Wis
High total attribute points example (Paragon 21 about 785 points): Following the above order!
200 Dom | 100 SC | 200 Int | 150 Pat | 25 Ins | 25 Mast | 75 Emp | 10 Wis

What a run looks like:
1. Build Hallowed Clicks (HC) and Auto Clicks (AC) while using Arcanaworg and SS 5 for 1-2 minutes. Switch to your pet xp boosting item set.

2. Go through SS 3 and 4 to max out spell charges while using Arcanaworg.

3. Switch to SS 2 and your incantation item boosting set. At max HC, use abilities 3 and 6 in that order. When you use ability 6, make sure you're 1 or 2 seconds away from passively generating a HC. This will cause you to generate HC extremely quickly when using ability 6. If you mess this up, you can use ability 5 to generate some HC.

4. At max HC, switch to SS 1 and use each ability. Switch to your profit boosting item set and click your orb until you're out of HC. In between clicks, make sure to buy upgrades and sources. This was a small burst to get the run started.

5. Get max charges on your abilities and max HC. Switch to Golem followed by Anima Construct.

6. At pet level 85+ you're ready for actual bursts.

7. Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you run out of charges on your abilities.

8. This is where SS 3 and 4 come in. You're going to use Spell focus and Manabeast to build your spell charges.

9. Now that you have done some quick bursts to buy upgrade and sources, switch to the Homunculus followed by the Simulacrum. Use these pets to buy max sources.

10. While sources are building, now is when you want to start getting excess HC using SS 5. Ride this for about 10 minutes.

11. Switch back to Anima Construct and repeat steps 3 and 4 until you can exile at a respectable increase in Mysteries.

It's better to build more HC and AC than the couple minutes I suggested. You'll also want to get Anima Construct to as high of a level as you can. You'll get a huge profit increase if you do.
Expeditions Quick Guide
Stats and cards:

Important: There is a bug, it is possible to only have 238 available points to spend. If you only have 238, you need to reset your expedition attributes to get the missing 2 points.

This spread works because of the drawing and charging speed. Card drops are random and this allows us to quickly cycle through cards while we set up a combo. The charging and drawing speed is going to give you constant dps throughout the fight while you build your combo bar. Also, when starting expeditions, focus on having an even spread until you have 20 points in each stat, minus Savagery.

Now, a perfect ability bar looks like this:

Here we have 2 Magical Weapons and Shattering Strikes which we can stack. This is a bit overkill. You should aim for a minimum of 1 each but 2 of each is ideal. Magical Weapon, Magic Missile, and Shattering Strike are the chosen for major slots because they are your core combo cards. Magic Missile has insane dps given its damage and short charge time. The Chosen normal slot cards are for support. Spell Focus to deal some damage and draw cards, Karnaphen's Spellshroud to provide defense, Lighting Bolt to charge spells, and Gem Resonance to heal. The minor card slots are also for support, like skipping enemy attacks and removing buffs.

This is the result from using the above bar against a level 120 Golem.

Again, 2 Magic Weapons and 2 Shattering Strikes are overkill. I was able to kill the Golem with only 1 Magic Missile despite the Golem being level 120 and having more HP than most monsters. All the more reason why you don't need to try to force a bar like this. Using 1 or 2 of each of your buffs followed by a few damaging spells should be all you need. Farming Mausoleum, you should be able to complete it in roughly 3 minutes without needing consumables. Free Roam should also take around 3 minutes with 1 or 2 lessor healing potions being used.

Final note(s):
1. Expedition attributes do not matter when doing idle expeditions, only level matters.

2. Farming Mausoleum is the best when doing idle expeditions.

3. Farming Free Roam is the best when doing active expeditions.
Expeditions Advanced Guide
NOTE: Endless expeditions were removed so this section isn't too relevant at the moment.

This section will include tips, tricks, and strategies so you can push your way past zone 300 in the Infinite Challenge zone.

There is no returning to other zones when starting an Infinite Challenge run. Make sure to have as many of each consumable, around 100 of each (soft cap), before starting.

Idle expeditions will not reset your zone after starting an Infinite Challenge run.

For reference, this is what I started with when I pushed my way to zone 345:

It is important to know how and when to use each item. Also, if you die, go into settings and hit "Load" and it will take you back a few minutes so you can continue. Every 30 or so zones you should export your save and copy it in case you mess up and lose the run. Then you can just import it and continue where you left off.

Zones 100 - 175
You're only going to want to use lesser and greater healing potions within this range. You want to save as many of your other consumables while you're still able to kill enemies on your own. However, don't be afraid to use an item if you must, especially if you're close to the soft cap. It's also worth using an Arcane Bomb if an enemy has heals queued up. It's better to use 1 bomb instead of multiple other consumables if the enemy heals to full.

Zones 176 - 225
Now would be a good time to use Draught of Marble Skin to start reducing damage taken. Try using one per fight, either at the start of the battle or before multiple attacks. Now is also a good time to start using 1 Draught of Fertile Mind at the start of the battle to increase ability generation speed. This is also where you want to try customizing your ability bar. You want 1 or 2 Magical Weapons (preferable 2) and 1 to 3 Fireballs or Magical Missiles. Fireball does the most damage of any spell and Magical Missile follows closely behind. For your last 1 or 2 abilities, you want a Void Bolt (to skip an enemy attack) or a Counterspell (to remove an enemy buff). Also, now is a good time to start using Sealed Scrolls and Bottled Lightning. These are the least useful consumables so use them as you need them.

Zones 226 - 300
Following the same strategy you've been using, you want to use 1 Glyph of Incantation and 1 Glyph of Evocation before using your combo. This is going to give you all the damage you need to kill enemies. As you get closer to zone 300, you might need to also throw in a Draught of Battle Trance to kill your enemies. You really want to make sure to always be under the effect of either the ability Empower or the consumable Draught of Marble Skin.

Zones 301 - 350+
Even using the strategy, it's going to start taking multiple consumables to ensure you kill an enemy in one or two combos. Now is a good time to start using summons. What you want to get is get 2 Woodland Creatures on your ability bar and 1 or 2 Elementals. You want to use 4 Glyphs of Summoning and either a Draught of Marble Skin or Empower before summoning them. If you don't have increased defense, they will die in 1 hit. Throw everything out and just keep up your defense. The Woodland Creatures will kill any enemy relatively quickly. Another combo would be to use 3 Glyphs of Summoning and a Draught of Battle Trance. Either combination works. If you have any left over and are completely out of other consumable, Arcane Bomb as many enemies as you can.

Doing everything I mentioned above got me to zone 345. If I tried harder and went in with 100 of each consumable, I could have made it much higher. Also note that my previous high was only zone 333 and that was before Magical Weapon was nerfed! So to push further with less damage is just me refining my strategy and knowing how to properly use items.

My e340+ Mystery saves can continue starting at zone 346. I don't know if highest zone ever will be reset in the future like it was when Magical Weapon was nerfed so I'll post to say that I did it:

I just added an older e1400+ Mystery save so all mechanics are unlocked and can be tested.

Any chance we could get an updated save list? Your ?? Realm save is over a year old.

To be honest, I haven't even tried playing the mini game manually yet, but thank you for updating the guide so fast.

I just updated the section. How is the spread working for you?
No One You Know 2024 年 1 月 28 日 上午 5:17
I just hit level 120 in expedition and I have followed your stat distribution and have 20 AP left to spend. Where would you put an extra 20 points if you had them?
darkjedi666 2023 年 2 月 28 日 下午 2:45
Yeah sorry soon after asking the question, I realized I was passed RW efficiency.
G  [作者] 2023 年 2 月 28 日 下午 12:41
It depends on where you are. Towards the end game, you'll have enough mana per second to max out spells without either. RW lowers your Void Mana which lowers your auto clicks used for building. With one of the more recent updates, you can see how many casts per second you are getting for each spell by placing your mouse cursor over them. So you can use Manabeast if you are at max cast rate already without lowering your auto clicks per second.

What about reality warping instead of Manabeast during Interogator/Smite phase ?

It's vastly better. I'll try to update the guide in the next couple of days. Plus, you can snap shot GR. I was able to increase it to 3400 gems without max enchants.

I'll look into that too. My GR provides 1700 gems which should be like e12 profit while HW provides e17 profit increase. I don't know how exactly it's calculated so the raw gem increase might be better.
