Mute the Hiver

"Mute is a young hiver from the western hive. He was cast out by the queen for not responding to her when she called for him. In fact he never responded to her ever. He was completely mute. Born with a defect that made him mute he was cast out into the world of Kenshi with no queen, no food, no money, and no voice. Until he found his way to a small clump of buildings called a "way-station." He was shocked having never heard of these places he eagerly ran into the bar and sat down in a chair. Listening. He couldn't talk but he heard every word from the people around him. The other patrons eventually started to call him "Mute" and the name stuck."
