This is no longer the case. They fixed this issue in 1.0.18

I can also confirm that it does work. I forgot to pick up Number 6 from above. I went into 3-1 and there was a room that simply had the souvenir in it

№ 1: 1-1 / 1-3 (? Possible spawn across any zone of 1st portal ?)

I can confirm you can find (1) the mask on 1-3 (3-3 to be exact). I had to run it a few times cause Journals seemed to spawn instead before the souvenir.

№ 2: Quest, need save caravan in cave. Usually 1-1, but can be found in 1-2/1-3
№ 3: 1-1 Room with the looted camp
№ 4: From quest with two water pump, 3-2
