Black Angel [Scripted, v1.5]

A 1-4 players dice/tile placement game about managing a ship traveling between galaxies. Overview video + Scripting demo video above. 60-120 minutes long.

Humanity, through its irresponsible behavior, has exhausted the natural resources of Earth, making it almost uninhabitable. In a burst of lucidity, pressed by the irreversible degradation of your planet, the great nations are forced to put aside their differences and share their knowledge in order to create the vastest spacecraft ever constructed. Thus, the BLACK ANGEL project is launched.

The Black Angel, the first intergalactic frigate in history, must transport the genetic heritage of humanity beyond known worlds, over a journey that is likely to last several thousand years. Her crew will be composed of only robots. Because no nation is willing to trust the creation of the AI (artificial intelligence) that will control this crew to any other nation, a compromise is found: The Black Angel will be co-managed by several AIs, and the utility of each decision will be evaluated in VP (Validation Process).

At the completion of this long and perilous voyage, when a new inhabitable planet has been reached, the AI that has earned the most VP will be entrusted with reawakening Humanity and overseeing its new start….

All the reports are in agreement: The Black Angel is approaching Spes, a planet with the highest probability for habitability by the human species. Take advantage of our approach to maintain the good relations you have gradually woven with the benevolent Alien species populating the galaxy, and watch out for the dreaded Ravagers, who would do anything to prevent you from reaching Spes.

Scripted elements:
Scripted player board (shown in 2nd video above):
- Sliding tech tiles (cubes move too)
- Clearing of the cards and cubes with a button

Scripted main board:
- Sliding new tech tiles with a button
- Locking/Unlocking of ravager cards (to prevent stacking)
- Locking of the space tiles to prevent erroneous lifting with cards

Ship combiner:
- Tool to not have to use robots inside ships and it automatically takes one of your robots and your ships

Game Keys:
- Set shortcuts for any of the above scripted features under Options -> Game Keys

Four (4) of the Green Tech tiles have the wrong Robot reward. They should have the Black Angel icon as well, but there are actually 8 tiles giving a Robot.

@XShrike it's because the dice have only 4 rotation values programmed instead of 6; if the die happens to land on one of the unprogrammed sides, it will just default to the first programmed face if you try flipping.

The flip function is acting oddly with the dice. Instead of just flipping the die to the opposite side, it seems to want to drift to 2 or Star. If I have a 1 and pay a debris to flip it, it will go to 3. However, if I flip a 3, it will go to Star. If I flip a Star, it goes to 2. Then it will just keep flipping between 2 and Star.

The robots and ships are joined by the Attach tool. If you click and hold on either one and drag to empty space, the 2 of them won't be Attached to each other anymore. Probably best way to separate them

It is not a rules question it is a how to use the mod question. If you keep your ship alive, you really don't need to separate alive. However do to us playing for the first time and like half of the missions paying out by dropping off the map, we lost a lot of ships. I was just asking if there was an intended way of dealing with the destroyed ships.

We ended up setting them to the side and discarding a robot from the middle and a ship when needed.

I'm unclear if you're asking me a rules question or a "how to play this mod" question. It's been too long since I've played it.

I didn't get any error with Mod Caching turned off. By general supply, you mean taking cubes/ships from the matching infinite bags? Is anyone else getting XShrike's error?

What should you do when a piloted ship falls off the board? Delete the combined and just make copies of the components? Leave the combined piece to the side until you do the action again?

When pulling debris and ships from the general supply the chat says "WWW Model Error: Malformed URL"
