Harvey Wippleman worked in Memphis throughout the 80's and became a hated manager while working as Downtown Bruno.

In 1991, Wippleman debuted for the WWF as the manager of Big Bully Busick, but went on to manage others such as The Warlord, Sid Justice, Kamala, Giant Gonzalez, Mr. Hughes, and Bertha Faye.

Wippleman transitioned into a road agent and backstage role in 1996.
