Green Stones and Training

描述
So you're a cheater, huh?
That's ok. Really. I am too. And for that reason i made an event.
Well, actually two events.
The first one let's you spawn Cosmic Seeds, as many as you like.
The second one let's you train your people to superhuman levels.

How to use:

Spawning Cosmic Seeds is easy.
1. Make sure your group is selected, else the seeds are going nowhere.
2. Hit up the developer console by pressing F2. (The console is enabled by default, unless you deactivated it somehow.)
3. Go to the Trigger Event section. There you can scroll through your modules. Pick the module named "Lulei".
4. Now you get to pick the specific event. For the Cosmic Seeds, pick the Green Stone event.
5. At this point, you just play through the event. Spawn as many seeds as you like and when you are done, just end the conversation with the appropriate option.
6. Congratulations, you can now build as many villages as you like, or equip everyone of your characters with The Other Ring.
7. Still not enough seeds? Just repeat steps 1-5. There's no limit to the event.

Training characters is just as easy, but you'll have to do a few extra steps.
1. Pick the character you wish to train.
2. Put him in an expedition of his own. Weather you give him food and fuel is up to you.
3. Walk a few hexes away from your main group. (Get it? "A few extra steps." *Wheeze*) That is to prevent the other characters from getting involved in the event like for example when you have an expedition just a few hexes outside of your village and the expedition gets attacked and whoever is in the village comes to help in the fight.
4. After traveling far enough, make sure the expedition of your loner is selected, else there will be noone to train.
5. Hit up the developer console by pressing F2. (The console is enabled by default, unless you deactivated it somehow.)
6. Go to the Trigger Event section. There you can scroll through your modules. Pick the module named "Lulei".
7. Now you get to pick the specific event. For training, pick the Trainer event.
8. At this point, Theodore will appear and tell your character to "Git gud".
9. You now have the options to increase any of your six main attributes: Strength, Perception, Intelligence, Wisdom, Mysticism and Destiny. I also added the option to increase Wits, since these act independentley from the main attributes. I didn't include adding Movement Points, since there is a script in the developer console to do exactly that. If requests are high, i'll add it. Seeing as the other attributes like Gathering are tied to the main ones, i didn't bother to add extra options to increase those specifically. Plus, the options get less convoluted.
10. Additionally, you have the options to make your character creepy, attractive, beautiful or all at once. Just be sure to only pick these options once, since i can't speak for your games stability should you chose to make them double down on any of these.
11. When you pick an option, the selected attribute gets increased by 1.0 points. If your character happens to be under the effect of a blessing or curse or any other modifier, you'll get to see your stats being incresed by either 1.X or 0.X points depending on the specific modifier value, while you will still get 1.0 points added to the base value of the attribute.

Now maybe getting awarded 1.0 points at a time sounds kinda slow to you, here's a step-by-step tutorial on how to change the event to your liking:

1. Fire up the game (easy)
2. On the main menu, pick Events Editor
3. Locate the module that you wanna edit, in this case the module name is 'Lulei'
4. Click the module and then press edit module
5. Now you have the two Events, 'Green Stone' and 'Trainer', click the 'Trainer' Event and then edit event
6. You are now greeted by a bunch of mom's spaghetti, use you mouse scroll wheele to zoom out and get an overview
7. I tried to give the whole event tree some sort of structure, in the middle there's the adventure start node and the first adventure node with all the options to pick from
8. On the right hand side you have the six main attribute nodes, arranged in a 2x3 column, the two upper ones being strength and perception, the middle ones intelligence and wisdom and the lower ones mysticism and destiny, while wits is sitting below the first adventure node
9. In order to increase the points handed out to you, click 'Enter Logic Editor' in the node you wish to edit
10. You are now in the Logic Editor of the node and you can see it is empty, because by default, the funnel is selected, click on the pen below the funnel
11. Now you see a box appear below results, I recommend you to not temper with 'LIST', 'Script' and 'Parameter 2', you only need to change 'Parameter 1'
12. The '1' in Parameter 1 are the 1.0 points that get added to your character, you may change this to any amount of points you wish, be it '5', '10', '50', '100', '1000' anything above, below or in between, go crazy, go stupid, (AAAAAAAH!)
13. However, i did not test how good the game may or may not handle huge numbers, so be advised that your game's stability is at risk when you go into a fight with stats OVER 9000!!!! (personally I never rose any stat above 200, suit yourself)

On the left hand side you may see the three nodes associated with the attractive, beautiful and creppy attributes, which can be tempered just aswell, but is kinda pointless, since you can't be double or triple attractive or beautiful (not knowing you i'm not sure about the creppy attribute, but i'm not the judge of that)

By repeating the steps 9-12, you may aswell change the amount of cosmic seeds handed out to you if you so desire, just enter the logic editor on '6: Adventure Node' and change Parameter 1 to your liking. I advise you to not overdo it since i have tested this even less, but who am i to stop you from it?

And that's it basically. If you have any questions, feedback or requests, let me know, i'll be happy to help.

it has been some time since I played the game and I never cared much for elves, so I don't know the criteria for elf/human breeding, but either way, the mod does not interfere with anything that I know of, it's just for raising stats and giving tags, if you don't get elf children to spawn then it might be a different mod interfering, or it's just bad RNG, sorry I can't help you on that

alternativley, you could delve into the editor and try to understand the inner workings of the mod you're using and try to alternate it to your likeing, but that's for you to figure out

@Andy Apustaja
Have you gotten an elf child from an elf and a human where the human got his/her beautiful tag by using your mod?
Andy Apustaja  [作者] 2024 年 10 月 3 日 下午 6:31
can't say I have, but nevertheless, this mod should not interfere with child spawning

Thanks for this mod. :-)
I also have the mod CildSpawningEnhanced. Prior to adding your mod, I got regularly an elf child after getting an elf and 1 or more humans with the beautiful trait.
After recently adding this mod (Green Stones and Training), I never got en elf child anymore. Used to have like 10 elves in the expedition in late game.
I now more or less only get human children found in the cabbage field. Birth rate from "Stork" is now much lower. Only got a few "made by" units in my expedition. Have gotten human and halfbreed human/goblin and human/orch this way, but never gotten an elf or a halfbreed elf. (All criterias met to get one.)
Have you tried the mod CildSpawningEnhanced yourself?

Works for me. Most people may struggle with the fact that you need to select new database in options.

did you try resubscribing? maybe it just needs a database reload

green stone doesn't work anymore :,(

@ulthar I just went into the game to try it for myself, for me it opens up normally, can you access the dev options in the settings? if not, i can't really help you with that, my dev console was activated from the day that I bought the game
Ulthar 2020 年 7 月 23 日 下午 4:57
I can't seem to get the dev console to open up.

@Houjuu Byakuren have you tried unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod? I just did the same, unsubscribed the mod, went into the game for it to reload the database, left the game, subscribed to the mod, went into the game, activated the mod in the mod menu, reload the game for database update, checked in the event editor that the event is activated, went into a new game and checked all options, everything was working fine, should be the same for you

I think it's unlikely, but maybe you are subscribed to a mod that is conflicting with mine, but there would need to be massive changes done to the core game, like some kind of total conversion, tho i haven't tried out one of these

my mod literally just adds two events, one that adds cosmic seeds into your inventory and the other adds points to your attributes and a few tags, i didn't temper with any skills or databases

TL;DR
please try resubscribing the way I did it, that's all I can recommend right now
