To play with others there are a few ways this can be achieved:

GUIDE 1 for 5 players
1. Launch Takedown red sabre via steam

2. Download and install/run Hamachi from : https://secure.logmein.com/products/hamachi/download.aspx

3. Create a network via Himatchi and give the name and password to your friends.

4. Have your friends join the network via Hamachi

5. In Takedown red sabre press ~ to open console and type OPEN then the IP address of the network in Hamachi

6. This should then connect you to the host game which will be for the players on this network only and limited to 5 in total unless have a paid Hamachi account.

GUIDE 2 for 5-12 players

1. Launch takedown red sabre via steam

2. Host a game

3. Give public ip to players and have them join via console command: ~ open then ip address

4. Alternatively if the game does appear in the server list you can join here also

5. If you exclusively only want to play with friends in this mode then the host will need to start the game on their own, kill themself and return to the lobby thus this appears to then only allow the game available via ip join only. If this is not done it is possible for randoms to join and will need to be kicked.

The following are a list of suitable tips that i and friends have found very useful:

1. Use split insertion points

2. Communicate on VOIP

3. Call out "soft contact" and the location when you hear an enemy

4. Call out "Engaging" and location when attacking an enemy

5. Call out "Tango down" when killing an enemy

6. Door opener is to crouch when opening door thus giving good cover to fire-team behind

7. Cover all angles when moving as a team

8. Use single round fire

9. Call out movements as team and have a pointman

10. Call out "ready" when ready to move into a new position

11. Have distinctive armour/flags/nicknames/weapons that everyone is aware of

12. Dont spam text to talk unless you are text talking the scooby-doo theme to brighten everyones mood ;)
