The game montaro is great and fun to play, but really lacks a full screen feature. After searching online and only finding How to enable full screen :: Montaro General Discussions, I decided to create a method to play full screen (actually, borderless).

The game was never meant to be played in full screen and therefore does not handle the clicks at the side of the screen very well. So, be careful where you click or you will lose stupidly. :)

Before you start, you need to download the software WinExplorer[www.nirsoft.net] (downloads are on the bottom of the page).

1. Start the game
   
   
2. Start winexp.exe
   
   
3. In the WinExplorer window, find the entry "Montaro [Chrome_WidgetWin_1]"
   
   
   
4. In the lower part of the WinExplorer window, navigate to the "Style" tab
   
   
5. Uncheck the boxes:
   
   • WS_MAXIMIZEBOX
     
   • WS_MINIMIZEBOX
     
   • WS_THICKFRAME
     
   • WS_SYSMENU
     
   • WS_DLGFRAME
     
   • WS_BORDER
   
   
   
6. In the lower part of the WinExplorer window, navigate to the "Size & Position" tab
   
   
7. In the "Window state" section (in the middle), click on "Maximized"
   
   
   
8. Profit!
   
   Now you can Alt-Tab to the WinExplorer program to close it, or anything else you would like to do.
