Kuvaus
Make night fun with viable light sources!

This mod increases the radius of all light sources in the game and dramatically increases the illumination time for RoadFlares, Torches, LongTorches, and Chemlights.

If you think roadflares, chemlights and other items in the game take up slightly too much room in your inventory then check out ItemSizeTweak.

To install server side:
-Download the mod to the root directory of your server
-Copy the key file from the keys directory to your server's keys directory
-Add this mod to your launch parameters

To install client side using DayZ launcher:
-Subscribe to the mod
-Open DayZ launcher and check mark the mod in the mods list
-Add the mod's folder name to the end of your mod string

This mod was originally created for Virulent Hordes Hardcore PVE server

Does this mod still work for 1.13? I keep getting a Status_Access_Violation whenever I start the game with this mod loaded

@royalguard78 this is an issue with dayz's lighting engine itself. I can either make the lights brighter and have this issue; or I can make them brighter and folks have to deal with this one edge case nuisance. @MJRamon no repacks please.

hi i have tried using this mod but as what some have mentioned. when you are on fire barrel. the brightness of the fire becomes dark. Would love to have this mod back in the server if it's fixed. Thanks a lot in advance.

@BjornZ: I've seen that bug too, it's very annoying. But it's not caused by other mods. It's a DayZ bug.

@ImBjornZ my initial inclination is to say its a game bug. The way the game handles shadows means that sometimes they dont render from your perspective even though they should. BUT I've broken things in game before that have too wide of a scope to test for so I will definitely look into it. If its my mod (or something that I can fix using this mod) then I'll do it :)

Bug: I don't know if it is your mod or dayz but when you are facing a firre barrel that is burning it is completely dark, but if you have your back towards the barrel and looking away the light radius is reaching long (as it should be). Just so you know for a future fix! :D

@ImBjomZ I plan to eventually have all of my mods configurable via a file, that will include illumination times and ranges for this mod specifically. Just gotta find time to do it....eaiser said than done haha but just stay tuned.

As an admin you want to be able to adjust the illumination time :((
