The steam release of Super Weekend Mode is different from some of its console versions. This includes changes such as the addition of new bosses, new outfits, and the introduction of power-ups. As such, the experience and achievements in the steam version of SWM will vary from that on other platforms.

SWM is an arcade-style game about a princess who must defeat a series of bosses recover her stolen possessions from “that guy”. This is done using the left and right paddles to fire at each boss while collecting hearts, avoiding skulls, and bumping bunnies.

Like most arcade games, mastering SWM mostly takes time and practice. However, here are a few tips:

• Remember that in general it’s better to miss a heart than a bunny, and better to miss a bunny than hit a skull.
  
• When trying to bump the bunnies it’s better to go for them sooner rather than later. Hitting them when they are at an even height with your paddles is too late.
  
• Feel free to re-map the controls onto any keys you are comfortable using. If you prefer a controller to a keyboard, you may find the game easier that way.
  
• Since all achievements but one do not require a certain difficulty setting, feel free to play on an easier difficulty and using an outfit that gives you extra power-ups.

You may encounter a glitch where the default paddle controls (Z and M) do not work. If this happens to you, simply navigate to the Figuration option on the main menu, remap your controls to any keys, reset to Default, and the controls should work.

If you try to revive too quickly on the “You Died” screen, the pop-up will remain while the game continues normally in the background. Once you die again and wait a second before reviving, the issue should resolve.
