This should be placed below Forgotten Buildings and Work Bench Variations in your mod list.

  • Usage node positions on "Bed" and "Bed II" have been changed to remove any gaps between the character and bed.
  • Build menu group names have been altered to match the name of the item. Variants from the two mods will now be grouped together. I have also corrected capitalisation and punctuation in the names of some storage containers so that they are listed alphabetically.
    Examples:
    • "Storage Armour Plates" to "Storage: Armour Plate"
    • "Storage Armour" to "Armour Stand"
    • Renamed "Storage: Ore (old)" to "Storage: Iron Ore (old)" so that it's listed next to the regular ore storage when using Work Bench Variations.

Not compatible with Cuddling/Spooning.

Well, at first glance, it seems like this patch is now useless. Why? Because one of the Workshop mods this patches - Work Bench Variations - seems gone. The link is dead as it gives an error:
"Error
Sorry!
An error was encountered while processing your request"

There is not even a copy of "Work Bench Variations" on Nexusmods or Moddb. :steamsad:

Fortunately, I did find an archived copy over on a site called "Skymods" (search for "Kenshi Mods Catalogue").

I manually fixed the "Missing Work Bench Variations" issue and it seems to retroactively restore all missing buildings and their inventories even if you progressed with your save.

Follow these steps:

1. Go to the Skymods Site to download the mod manually.

2. Go to your Kenshi Mods directory.
[Drive_Letter:\Steam\steamapps\common\Kenshi\mods]

3. Create a new folder named exactly: "Work_Bench_Variations"

4. Extract the .zip you downloaded and copy only the 1 Folder and 3 Files into the "Work_Bench_Variations" Directory
(You will need WinRaR or to extract a .zip - Feels like a Raid Shadow Legends ad having to state that by now)

5. Launch Kenshi
6. Click the Mods Tab

7. Look for "Forgotten Buildings + Work Bench Variations Compatibility (v. 2)" and move it BELOW BOTH:
"Work_Bench_Variations (v. 28)"
AND
"Forgotten Buildings (v. 10)"

8. Click "Save config"
9. Click "OK"

Heya. Will take a proper look in near future.
Quick observation, does the new node height take the pillow and thick mattress variations into account?
