(Workshop) Forgotten Outpost (Fixed Cryopod)

Beskrivning
Removed broken cryopod mod and put in the new vanilla small grid cryopod instead.
Original Scenario here: https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=636244414

Description from the original page:

Congratulations. You have been selected from thousands of applicants by the United Nations Space Administration to be one of the first 24 colonists on Tau Ceti III. You will be traveling in cold sleep for the three year trip to the Tau Ceti system. Just step into this pod, close your eyes, and you will be revived once you reach the Tau Ceti system. Why the EVA suit you ask, its just a precaution in the extremely unlikely event that something happens to the ATLAS en route to Tau Ceti III. Your Cryo Pod also serves as a self propelled escape pod that will take you to safety even if the ATLAS is destroyed. Now just lie back and relax, you will be there literally before you know it.

Mods that affect Gameplay
Lightspeed - removes the speed limits on the game, allows you to get places quicker, just be careful landing on planets
Advanced Life Support - This mod allows the growing and creation of food. At present the caracter does not require sustenance, but I feel this adds atmosphere to the game.

The goal of this scenario, primarily is survival. There is a win condition, I did not place the win condition in the shift U menu, but you will know it when you see it. Keep in mind that nothing short of using SE toolkit or some similar program is off limits in this scenario. You will have to hack equipment, read programable blocks, destroy, and build to get to the end. Just be carefull what you are destroying, it may have important information inside.

Sorry, but to correct an error with scripting in the space station, I had to reupload the scenario file. As a result I had to delete and re-add the scenario as a whole, so you will have to resubscribe to the scenario. This probably will not affect any saved games you have, but they will not benefit from the fixed scripting.

It looks like a door mod missing from the workshop. Delete 305551761 from the modlist in the sandbox.sbc file in steamapps\workshop\content\244850\1765988999 . Just delete that specific whole entry from the <mods> section. It's 4 lines of code starting with <moditem> .

This should fix things in June of 2024. Future people may have to delete more mods from the list. I dunno. There's only 32 mods in the list normally. It doesn't take long to find which is missing. Who knows how this changes your playthrough or grids in game.

Mods download failed. Broken again, or is it sth on my side?

Saxel had the original, but never uploaded it. since he hasn't played SE in years, it's even odds whether he even still has the local copy on his drive. I did revamp it a bit for a slightly more modern take as a cargo/vehicle hauler about as year back. No upload, but I'll tease a screenie:

The win condition is simple. Get to the planet, or more specifically, the lander after visiting the orbital satellite.

PS - If anyone is reading this still - Since the win part of the scenario seems to not work now is there another way to locate the win condition(s)?

Sorry, but I just discovered this scenario - is there a model for the crashed ship that carried the life pods? I would love to try to rebuild it. Thanks

Most of the Programmable Blocks are used for NPC Logs.

This is great to play been on it a few hours, I like the way this has been setup.
i question before i start to look in to it, the program block that have programs on the seem to come up with a error. do i need to look in to the programming to sort this or is it not part of this game.
Blake Alexander Terida  [skapare] 2 jun, 2020 @ 17:12
Yes. Ownership of certain blocks are set to 'no share', just like the original.

When I spawned I was automatically set as a member of JMC, but I still have access denied on roughly half of the blocks in the first base. I've tried leaving and rejoining the faction and leaving creating my own faction and then rejoining, neither of these worked. Is there something obvious that I'm missing?

Your welcome. The pod was fired from a ship about to crash. As a question, what is Newton's first law of motion?
Okay. Having answered that, being in space where friction is virtually non-existent, and no retrograde thrusters (blame saxel, I simply modified his pod with the vanilla cryopod and small batteries in place of the broken cryopod mod and a small reactor), how would it stop, without you going into the console and playing around with the gyro and the launch thrusters to make it stop?
