Its not possible because of the initial state of the lights. This guy {LINK USUNIĘTY} actually goes through the logic and writes some software to try and solve it.

Proof: Count the number of correct lights in the #1, #4, #6, and #9 positions. It is always an odd number. None of the buttons change this fact -- they all flip 0, 2, or 4 of them -- so there is no way to make all four correct.

haha.. yeah, he pokes fun at puzzles in games that's why they give you the achievement without solving it. i'll admit tho, i kept trying for a bit.. it's pretty genius.

yeah, the puzzle has easy mechanics, but with the way the buttons start (the arrangement of on and off) its actually impossible to solve
