Hello! This guide will show you how and where to get characters that died during 'Story Mode' back into daily life. This includes Mina, Thomas, Ian, Mitabi, Marco, Levi Squad (Oruo, Petra, Gunther and Eld), Miche, Gelgar, Nanaba and Hannes.

This is only for people who have 100% completion in story mode.

Some reasons you might want to get them back - Skills and/or achievements.

Upon completion of story mode, you will be prompted with a popup that says you can 'save those who fell in battle on previous missions'. Basically, you need to replay past missions where the character you want to save died and complete a special side mission in order to save them.

To play a past mission, go to the barracks and look for a person with a Cadet Icon above them, interacting with them will bring up past missions for you to play.




















All of these 'saving missions' will look and play out the same, they work just like normal side missions (the green flare/marker ones that require you to help someone) except the icon is colored yellow/gold.

They will popup in a specific time during a past mission and are quite difficult to miss, so don't be too paranoid that you missed it. You can also see these icons in your map.

Like I said before, all these will be the same, so just find this mission in 'Past Missions' and play through it, you HAVE to finish the entire mission before you can play them, do not just quit upon finishing the special save missions.

Mina and Thomas' mission is First Battle

Marco, Ian and Mitabi's mission is Primal Desire

Levi Squad's mission is Choices and Consequences

Miche's mission is Beast Titan

Important: During the escort section (first part), the 104th Cadets must not change path or you will not get Miche's side mission. Once you get the message that the 104th Cadets changed path, you should restart the mission.

To keep them on the same path, just build any base on the red flag marker (second image), if you wait too long or don't build anything, they will change paths.

Gelgar and Nanaba's mission is Utgard Castle

Hannes' mission is Charge
