Sandstorm Extended is a mod that gives admin's more control over the Sandstorm frequency and the damage taken from the storm. In addition, the Sandstorm becomes more dangerous than ever due to added routes that have been added throughout the desert region. By default, there is only 1 main path the Sandstorm takes. We've added 4 additional routes in addition to the vanilla path. All 5 routes are chosen at random and can come from virtually every direction.


Allows admins to set custom interval times for the Sandstorm Event.
Allows admins to set custom damage taken from the Sandstorm.
Allows admins to set a custom damage taken from the Sandstorm while protected by a mask etc.
Allows admins to force a Sandstorm to start (if not already running).
Adds additional routes to the sandstorm.
Allows admins to choose which routes to enable.


Allows admins to set the percentage of shelter needed to be protected from the sandstorm.
Allows admins to enable monster spawning features.
Allows admins to set monster spawn chance.
Allows admins to set the amount of NPC's can spawn per player.
Allows admins to enter a list of NPC's that can be spawned inside a sandstorm, these can be from WeightedDataTable, SpawnDataTable and should be separated with a comma.
Allows admins to disable journey steps from sandstorm spawned NPC's to prevent journey steps such as "Slaying a Dragon" being awarded.
Allows admins to force sandstorm spawned NPC's into a special community to prevent them from being hostile with each other.


Mod configuration can be accessed via Mod Control Panel (requires admin rights).


Min/Max are the times the sandstorm will be allowed to start (in seconds).
For example, if min = 600, max = 1200, the sandstorm will start at some point between 10 and 20 minutes (60*10=600 = 10 minutes, 60*20=1200 = 20 minutes).
The time between min/max will be randomly chosen for each sandstorm.

If the sandstorm is still running while the next timer fires, it will be skipped, and you will need to wait for the next timer to fire!

Please note, admin server changes to the buff configurable options will not take affect while a player is affected by the sandstorm buff. The buff changes will be applied the next time the player has the buff refreshed on the character.

If you need additional information in-game, there is a "Click for Help" menu option available on the admin menu. There is also some additional information available if you hover mouse over each admin option.


This mod directly edits and is therefore incompatible with any other mod that edits the following blueprints

• BP_AC_SandstormController.uasset
  
• BP_AC_SandStorm_Damage

This mod is compatible with its sister mod, SnowstormEX. It is highly encouraged to use both as it makes the Exile Lands more exciting and dangerous than ever. Link to that mod is here.
