STUI Plus

This is a simple mod I created to add additional funcitonality to ShackTac's UI. Useful for taking screenshots mid-game.

Features include:
- keybind to toggle STUI
- keybind to hold STUI
- options to selectively toggle HUD, Group Indicators, and NameTags
- options to permanently disable Group Indicators and NameTags
- ability to start mission with STUI hidden

Default keybind for toggling STUI is "Alt+U". You can change this under Controls -> Addon Controls -> STUI Plus.
By default, the hold keybind is unbound. You can bind it under Controls -> Addon Controls -> STUI Plus. Try using "Tab" or your freelook button!

TODO
- add options to selectively toggle HUD modes (e.g. compass + name list)
- add option to hide HUD when in vehicle but not in group

Known Bugs
- changing Group Indicator or NameTag options may require the user to toggle the HUD for changes to take effect

Disclaimer
I neither created nor own ShackTac User Interface (STUI). STUI is the property of ShackTac (zx64, Dslyecxi, Pennyworth).

In no way have I modified, updated, or reuploaded the PBOs of ShackTac User Interface. All this simple mod does is adjust the values of the global variables used by STUI on the fly. This mod requires STUI as a dependency.

To double check: This mod is client-side only, correct?

If so, it would be an obvious thing to add to the whitelist for every tacsim/milsim server with STUI.

Hmm, I'll have to investigate that. Personally, I've never used the High Command mode but I will look into it.

Hi Thoreaufare! I would like to suggest a feature to your mod: Using STUI, I have "No squad bar" enabled, since I just don't need it anymore. On the other hand, while playing Antistasi, I jave to use the High Commnd mode, which is not possible without squad bar. Maybe it's possible to diable the regular Squad Bar but enable the High Command Squad Bar?

But I encountered a problem: I wanted to set the options globally in the server settings, to disable the GI and NT for all players. Unfortunately, the settings don't get saved. In the Server log I can see these entries:

[CBA] (settings) WARNING: Value true is invalid for setting FARE_STUI_GI_DISABLE
[CBA] (settings) WARNING: Value true is invalid for setting FARE_STUI_NT_DISABLE

perfect, easy and very well done! you should do a bit of advertising in the comment section of the main stui mod... a lot of people are requesting the possibility to disable name tags.
