Fuse to CopperCube 5 or 5 Pro

This is for people who use the Original FUSE, before Adobe.
In the past, I personally have found it difficult to size things appropriately to CopperCube
CopperCube is easy to work with, but dimensions are best done BEFORE import
The theory here is simple...
  • a. make a character in FUSE
  • b. export the character in FUSE using the point zero nine eight (.098) as your scale
  • c. make more characters for your story
  • d. export them the same way
  • e. import them into your 3D modeler of choice
  • f. make the characters unselectable
  • g. make your environment objects to the scale of your unselectable characters
  • h. UV
  • i. import them into CopperCube, save
  • j. rig your characters
  • k. export them into .x after researching a bit via a search engine (CopperCube supports many formats for importing basic 3D meshes, yet has very few format options for importing rigged meshes.)
  • l. import your characters into CopperCube
  • m. now you should have your environment and your characters of a scaled size that will work with the 3D models that are included with CopperCube

Good Luck.

I am not great at CopperCube, but as there are so few walkthroughs, I thought I could take a minute to put this up so people would find this part rather easy.
