描述
The HFE 'Dartmoor' Planetary Miner is a light (30 - 40 ton) atmospheric miner designed for high reliability and low cost. It is powered entirely by Batteries, agile enough to handle unusual flight angles at full load, and requires only the basic resources available upon landing on a new planet.

No Mods | No Subgrids | No Scripts | No DLC | Survival Ready | Thruster Damage Compatible

Datasheet
Blocks: 158
Non-armor blocks: 72
PCU: 2,566
Triangles: 227,025
Mass: 38,621 kg

Length: 8.0 m
Width: 4.5 m
Height: 2.5 m

Description
The Dartmoor is designed to do one thing well, and that is to gather resources on planets. It can easily lift its full cargo volume and remain airborne at odd angles, making it significantly more forgiving to fly than other atmospheric miners. It automatically ejects Stone on request, includes running lights for operating underground, and can pick up salvage up to and including a crashed copy of itself. Once docked to a basic installation it can recharge its Batteries and be ready to fly again. The vehicle will never exceed its maximum power rating while maneuvering and doesn't require advanced materials to build.

Aside from that, the only notable feature is that it works with the HFE 'Shiba Inu' Cargo Rover once your production needs exceed what a single Dartmoor can provide.

My only complaint, it fills up too fast! :D

I have really enjoyed flying this thing! The only thing I changed was removing the merge block and am thinking of adding another battery there, for now its just blocks and a magnetic plate. I also added plating around the thrusters so I dont damage them when working in a hole. :) - i have been using the magnetic plate i added to turn this little guy into a small salvager. So I can pick up unknown signals, or pieces of drones we shoot down and just carry them to my grind pit.

I just built this, and am looking forward to trying it out.. Quick question tho, why does it have a merge block?

not lowkey this is the best miner out there.... my first build everytime on survival. its efficient and effective. this thing carries me to late game. ive put a lot of hours in and i can't come up with a more efficient early game build. i try not to use other's bp's for immersion but i can't help it for this one. everything about it was well thought out----- props dude

This is the best mining ship for planets i found so far. Very good design, a real worker and pretty easy to make even when you start a Scenario in hardore mode.
I would add always a remote and antenna and if poosible a gatlling gun in the back and 2-3 guns in front, also more cameras for better getting out of stuck situations or better view while docking.
I dont know why all ships have a merge block, this can be optional, but why not.
Instead a gear would be helpful, because this ship has enough power to move around other ships, when needed.
10 of 10 point for me for this good design ! Keep up the good work !

Solid miner, could do with beacon turned off at first for people who play in survival pvp and don't feel like sharing base location with a 50km area, nice touch with the flight lights and hazard bar light, does have minor issues if nose is pointed too far down but was expected from its design.

For some reason I'm having trouble recharging the batteries. Not sure if it's a MOD interfering with it. I'm troubleshooting it right now.
