You can paint your car, but what if you want something more exclusive? What if you want to add stickers to your car? This is what wraps are for.

You will be able to make your own design for the cars using ingame tool or external software. How you may ask? This guide will show you the basics to convert your car from this:

There's two ways to get the car templates when making a wrap.

Go to the Official Website[hidrift.com], here you will find a form where you have to select the car and the body parts you want the template for. Once done, in the bottom of the page you have two butttons, one to download the body template, and other for the window template. (Window template is common for car no matter wich body parts)

Inside wrap options, wich can be found in Shop -> Wraps -> Create wrap, theres an option to Download Vynil Wrap Template. When clicking this, we select body or windows template, and it will download the template for the car and body parts in use.

On the Official Website[hidrift.com] you can find the technical specifications for the wrap file, you can also find them here:

• Image format: .PNG

Once you got the template for the desired car, load into into a image editor. If you dont have any, you can use Paintnet[paintnet.es] or Gimp[www.gimp.org.es], both are available for free.

Once you downloaded/made a wrap, you will need to load it ingame. To do so, go to Shop -> Wraps -> Create wrap and click on Upload Pre-made Vinyl

The most important "bug" you need to know when making a wrap. Due to game shaders, all colors will be lighter ingame, so in order to obtain the desired color ingame, you need to make it darker on template. This way, when imported to the game, shaders will light the color.

If you pay atention to the template, you will notice that hood and the top part of the front bumper overlays, you can see it on the following image.




Theres no fix for this issue, you will need to adapt your design so those parts look the same, or you will get undesirable finish like in this wrap, where top part of front bumper should be plain white.

Many players won't even notice this issue, so it's up to the maker trying to make it look smoother or just leave it there.

This one is simple, template obtained through the website is wrong. You can find fixed template on the HOD Legacy Discord Server[discord.gg]

In HOD Legacy Discord Server[discord.gg] you can find free wraps made by other players. How to use them? Easy.

First you need to join the discord server (Link above is an invitation). Once you are in, feel free to check all the channels, cause there isn't only wraps there, you can also find tunes, trades, teams...

Back to our topic, you will see a category called "Wraps". Inside you will find a channel for each in game car, those channel have PNGs that can be used for free ingame. Go to the channel with your car name and search for a wrap you like.

Once found, click on the image, but DON'T save yet, on the bottom left corner, there will be an option that says Open original, make sure to click there before saving. This will open a browser tab with the image at full resolution, save it from browser.

Apply it as any other wrap.
