描述
Purpose
A medium sized mining ship designed for open cast mining. Comes in atmospheric, hydrogen and ion thrust variants. The Hydrogen version can be used on moons but is not recommended for planets.

A direct upgrade to the Quarry Miner MK 1, with 2 additional drills, greatly increased cargo space and a stone ejection system.

Repair Projector

Recommended PAM settings (if you don't want to collect stone) are to toggle sorters to On and ejection to Drop position. The ship will fly to job start position and eject stone when full. (thanks u/Hind-Sight20-20)

All ships in this set have a rear mounted Merge block and can be printed using a welder wall with one (large grid) piston.

Has an empty mass of 35482 kg

The Programmable block for [PAM] is turned off in this blueprint and all toolbars are the same from the cockpit and remote control.

Well, it is about 6 years old.

Any more specific feedback about why you feel like it sucks? was it not working, do you just not like how it looks?

I could add more cameras, but I never felt the need since docking is so easy from the cockpit view

As for the ejectors, You are welcome to add more to yours, especially if you are mining manually, but I think 6 ejectors and 2 sorters is enough, especially since this designed to be an automated miner. (although you did remind me to re-add the 5th and 6th ejectors back in, so thank you)

This ship can be improved by fitting cameras directly above or below the connectors for manual docking operations.

Having more ejectors (at the top of the vehicle) won't hurt.

A repair projector wouldn't hurt to help repair bumps and exploded drills in the field and would do away with having to reset groups etc.
