You know what, Greg? If you're gonna be like that, how about I let everyone in the entire facility know about your embarrassing pimple? No? Alright, I won't. Attention everyone in the entire facility, it's Cave. I have an important announcement to make. Greg wants you to know that he does not have an embarrassing pimple on his left eyelid, and it definitely does not leak into his eye and make him have strange visions. It is absolutely not sentient and it would be wrong to assume that it sings him to sleep every night. Also he's named it Greg Junior. Thanks for listening, everyone in the entire facility, you may now return to testing our products and/or testing my patience. Cave Johnson, we're done here.

I'm back with Thermic, a medium difficulty puzzle involving a laser, a light bridge, and a track platform. I'm still experimenting with my visual style, so please do let me know your thoughts on the aesthetics of this map in the comments below :)

Also, thanks everyone for over 400 workshop followers! :D I'm staggered that so many people enjoy my stuff, but I'm really glad that you do. Thanks for sticking with me all these years, and rest assured there are plenty more puzzles to come. Bring on 500!

@Mosquito's bytes inspired me to replay this puzzle today. Still as good as the first time I played which, seeing my previous comment, was 6 years ago today. Cheers!

A friend added this as a favorite today, so I replayed it. I hadn't looked at it since it came out 5 years ago. It seemed really obvious to me on replay that using only simple logical legitimate moves, there is no need to use the area behind the laserfield. I looked through the comments and didn't see where anyone else mentioned this particular solution. You probably don't care at this point as the map is old, but in case you do, this is the simple, logical solution that bypasses that area: https://youtu.be/CLiv0ZQpYz8

I managed to spare the turret, it is always a fun challenge to do. This one was especially fun since I needed to use my portals to move. Pretty fun!

Dang, why are so many people (myself included) not seeing the final move! So simple, but I wanted there to be extra steps. Really fun management puzzle!

You can cheese the level with an angled laser through the portal surface at the exit . I did go back and find the intended solution as I always do. Another satisfying puzzle when done right.

Great puzzle, thank you very much! As it took me a while to solve, I'd like to believe that it is more difficult than "medium" ;)
