Yes, it's got some new features

Screen: the normal version has two working screens. The left screen has the information of the aircraft, the right screen, has the status of the jet (Damage, ammunition, landing gear). The bomber has two additional working screens, the middle screen is a Bombing Camera, it shows what is under the plane (keep in mind that the aircraft has to be parallel to the ground) and a top right screen which shows how to activate the camera.
Alarm: yes, it has an alarm, two alarms actually, if one alarm is activated (a red light will light and a sound is played) means that the aircraft has taken much damage, if both lights are working, it means that the damage is critical and the pilot should get out of the plane.
Landing gear: just a deco but is cool (how to activate it is shown in the right screen)
