Introduction
So first of all before we get started, There are a couple of things that you need to know.

> Making Platinum Throgh Trading is GRINDY , Obviously its not gonna be easy but its also not really hard at the same time, its all about the time investment you're welling to put into the game, as i like to say in this game there are two currencies, Platinum, And Your Own Time.

> Luck plays a MASSIVE role in making platinum most of the time, ofcourse there are solid methods that u can use and rely on to make plat but for the most part, or the most profitable part, it heavily relies on luck~ So don't expect to be making massive amounts of platinum all the time, there are always ups and downs.

> Don't be Greedy.
Please, For the love of god, don't join the greedy bastards squad, Always be fair with your trades, don't try to overprice you stuff and downprice other's stuff, reasonable negotiations are totally fine tho.

> Don't Be Desperate.
I mean if you Really, Really, Really, REALLY REALLY are in REAL need of plat then sure? but just in general don't be desperate because you're hurting the market in that way, when you start selling stuff with an extreme cheap price you're hurting everyone because you're just lowering this item's price and that'll take its toll on you at the end of the day, so just stick with the horde when it comes to pricing no need to slaughter item's prices just to make fast plat, be PATIENT.

> And Finally, Most of the Trading done here will heavily rely on Warframe.Market If you're not familiar with it, check it out, its a site where you can sell and buy stuff related to warframe, and find out the price of any item in the game, really helpful for all sorts of trading in general.

Okay, Really sorry for the long introduction but i just had to put those points out, The Guide is Gonna go from the easiest methods to the more complicated ones, and i'll try to make it be as newcomer friendly as possible, now lets get into the actual guide.

The Vault Runs
Starting Off :

So i'm gonna assume that you have the basic knowledge of how trading works, (Dojo trading posts, Maroo Bazar and Number of Trades allowed per Day) If you don't then just search it up its very common and basic info that can be literally found anywhere.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is the Ideal way to start off as a Beginner, Head over to your dojo, Find the Orokin Labs and Buy the Dragon keys, There are 4 of them in Total, Really cheap shouldn't be a problem to get hold of, just make sure your clan has them researched. (Any MR2+~ Can Pretty Much do this.)

Once you have the keys You're gonna have to Build One or all of them (Depending on whether you wanna solo or go with a party) Equip Them\It in your Gear Box from the Arsenal, and Head over to a Capture Mission on The Orokin Derelict.
Once you're there you're gonna want to find the Vault Door, it spawns Randomly, So You'll have to look around everywhere to find it, once you find it it'll require one of the four keys to be opened, (The Key it requires changes everytime yes)

After Openning it grab the relic inside, Finish your objective and extract, on extraction you'll be rewarded with a mod. Now these mods are basically a MUST Have if you ever wanna get stronger in this game, So my personal Advice would be to keep the first mod you get, and start selling any duplicates of those mods afterwards.

The Vaults drops a variety of mods, not all of them are sellable, only a handy of them are.
Blind Rage, Transient Fortitude, Fleeting Expertise, Overextended, Narrow Minded, Heavy Caliber.

These are the ones that you can easily sell and make platinum of them,

I Would personally advice you do it with a full squad or at least a 2nd Friend because the keys will apply a debuff to your warframe and having all 4 equipped will make things harder so recruiting a squad can never hurt, it makes things go easier and smoother, vault runs are always relevant you'll always find people willing to run them. Simply Type H\Lf Vault Runs in the Recruit Chat and you'll find some people that are welling to join you.

The Void Trader

Now IDEALLY, you're gonna want to be MR8 for this, just to have access to all the relays the trader goes to, This is yet another super grindy way of making plat but its also a reliable one, it doesn't really require luck or anything, just time investment.

So in case you don't know about him, The void trader Aka "Baro Ki'Teer" Comes once every two weeks on Fridays, and he brings a bunch of items with him that can only be obtained thro him, and his inventory changes everytime, so ofcourse naturally he's bound to be a part of the trading world since most of his items are TRADABLE.

You Can Buy his items with Ducats and Credits, Ducats are a Currency that can only be spent to buy items from baro (and build the sacrifice sword) You can gain it from trading prime parts into the ducats exchange machine in any relay, (i will speak about this in the next section of the guide)

His Inventory Consists of Primed Mods, Rare Mods, Prisma, Vandal & Wraith Weapons, Random Boosters, a Warframe Quest, a Bunch of random Beacons, relics, Annnd cosmetics.

Now what we're looking at here is the first three of the list, The Mods and The Weapons, Lets go over mods first, there are two types of the mods he brings as i said, Primed ones and Rare ones.

Primed Mods :

These are usually not what you wanna be getting into if you're still a beginner, Trading primed mods is for big boys, and no i'm not looking down on you new players, im being frankly real with you, most of the profit in this field can be made thro selling these primed mods at MAX rank and that stuff costs ALOT, somwhere around 40k Endo and 2M Credits to max out any primed mod. So yes you may wanna avoid getting into the primed mods trading world until you've established yourself a little bit, but hey if you wanna go crazy, go ahead no one is stopping you, plus you can still sell them at rank zero, its just not as much profitable.
Trading primed mods also has a 1 million credits tax on the person buying it (regardless of the mod rank) so ALWAYS check with the person buying from you before you do anything, Ask if they have the needed amount of credits. (trust me there is alot of people that doesn't know about it)

Annnd finally, bare in mind that not all primed mods are sellable, some of them are really just never used in the game, for example the ones that gives extra damage to certain faction types, Aka "Bane of <Faction>" / "Expel <Faction>" Mods, So always make sure the mod you're investing in has a solid good use in the game, otherwise no one will buy it except mod collectors (and those are rare).

Here's a List of the mods that are really relevant as of right now :
> Primed Pressure Point, > Primed Reach, > Primed Target Cracker, > Primed Pistol Gambit,
> Primed Point Blank, > Primed Cryo Rounds, > Primed Continuity, > Primed Flow,

P.s : Ofcourse these are not the Only sellable ones, surely there are others but i only included the most popular ones.

And Well, if you weren't a beginner then it'd be pretty much as simple as farming the needed amount of 40k endo and 2 Million credits and then just listing your Offer on warframe.market and waiting for a buyer, since spamming the trade chat with max mods barely ever works.

Rare Mods :

These are pretty beginner friendly since most of the time you're gonna be selling them at rank 0, the rare mods baro brings are :

> Stance mods
> The Slash mods Set
> The Impact mods Set
> Dual Status Electricity Mods

  • So Lets Break them down, First of all, Stance mods
NOPE, all the stances he brings are easily gained thro the game so they barely ever fetch any prices, Don't invest in those.

  • Slash mods Set
Nope, again the slash mods started dropping off eidolons recently when POE was released, which pretty much dropped the prices for these making them not worth the investment anymore, So don't invest in those either.

  • Impact mods Set
This is just a BIG NO NO, the mods are actually useless in game, nobody uses them, barely sells, barely fetches any price, so in short, save your ducats.

  • Dual Status Electricity Mods
Finally some good iffing loot. Frankly honestly, as of right now, these are the last of the rare mods that can be sold from baro ki'teer, there are 4 of them. [ Pistol, Melee, Shotgun, Rifle ] You're gonna focus on the Pistol one, since its the most used and best choice to sell, The mod goes by the name "Jolt" and it can fetch a really good price at rank zero, for example by the time i'm making this guide it is worth 100 Platinum, but ofcourse all prices are subjective to change so by the time you see this it could have a lower or a higher price, who knows.

And ofcourse you can invest in the other electricity mods but jolt is the most popular one, so there is that, also try to avoid investing in the shotgun mod, "Shell Shock" since it can be farmed from the game, so it doesn't sell for as much

And Finally, there has been rare occasions of when baro brought the other dual status mods and oh god you just really wanna stay away from those because that is the biggest waste of ducats and credits that you could ever fall to.

    Weapons :

Most of the weapons Baro brings are just MR fodder, and luckily there are so many MR hunters in the game so you can count on selling them, and so, if you have any extra ducats on you, grab any of the weapons baro has, you can make some plats out of it.

    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

All of that was basically letting you know what sells and what doesn't from baro's inventory, Now once you've gotten the good stuff from him what are you gonna do ?

Well, Pretty much nothing, doing nothing is the right thing, just wait and be patient the longer you wait the higher these items's prices become, but wait too much and next you see is baro coming back with those items again which drops their prices back to point zero, just use your hunch and sell at the price you feel comfortable with.

P.s : As Far as i've played this game, baro has NEVER brought the same item twice in a row so its safe to say that u at the very least have a 1 month window of waiting before he ever brings the same stuff again.
Prime Parts & Relics.
The Classic good old platinum making method, selling prime parts, It's were i myself and many others started our trading carrier in warframe, there are many aspects to this particular market and i'll do my best to cover all of them, so lets get started.

So First of all We need to talk about "Relics" You get relics by casually playing the game, they're super common drops you are BOUND to have relics if you play the game, there are certain relics that are rarer than other and there are also certain ways to farm different types of relics but this guide is about Trading so i won't be covering that, you can search it up online there are many good youtube videos out there that guides you effectively through relics farming.

So Every Relic has 6 drops in it, 3 Commons, 2 Uncommons, And one Rare.
You can tell them apart by their Colors, Bronze is Common, Silver is Uncommon, And Gold is Rare.

You can increase your chances of getting the rare parts by refining your relics, there are different levels of refinement, Exceptional, Flawless, and Radiant.

Never do Exceptionals, Do Flawless for Uncommons, Do Radiant For Rares. (Also Works for Uncommons)

To Refine a Relic you need to spend something called "Traces" on it, Traces can be acquired by doing Fissure missions and gathering the 10 Reactants, the amount of traces you get is completely random each time, and you don't need to have a relic equipped to get traces.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ducats :

As I mentioned earlier, Ducats are the currency you need to buy stuff from baro along side credits, and the only way to get ducats is through trading your prime parts in a relay for ducats, depending on the rarity of a prime part it can be worth more ducats than another.

Ducats wise these are prime item's prices depending on their rarity.

Prime Part
Ducats
Common
15
Uncommon
45
Rare
100

As you Farm Prime parts in general you're bound to make ducats at the same time, so it's a win/win scenario since worst case scenario you can turn these ducats into platinum through baro as well, so don't be discouraged if you're not getting any rares, every prime part counts, trust me.

Commons :
There are Three ways to make use of your common prime parts.

> Selling them as "Prime Junk" around the time the Void trader comes people will start asking for "Prime Junk", prime junk is basically Common prime parts, the ones that fetches 15 ducats, They'll buy every 6 common prime parts for somwhere around 12-20 platinum, not a bad deal. good way to get rid of your prime junk if you don't have the credits to invest in baro's inventory.

> Making them into Ducats & Buying item's off baro and making profit out of that as explained in the last section.

> Keeping them around until you have the Full Set they belong to. (Will explain more about this later in this section)

Uncommons :
Uncommon Parts are Really awkward, they don't sell well on their own and it'd be a waste to sell them as prime junk since they're worth more than double the amount of a one common part, So the best way to go about your uncommons is basically either making them into ducats or just saving them for full sets.

Rares :
Rare Parts depends very Highly on the type of relic you're getting it from, If the rare part is from a Lith relic for example, it's pretty much gonna be worthless, somewhere around 10 platinum, in that case it's way more beneficial for you to make it into 100 ducats.

Rare Parts from Meso Relics are also similar to lith ones in most scenarios, Now Neo and Axi relics Rare parts are another story, most of the time a rare part from a neo or an axi relic will fetch a good price on its own, so in that case it's actually worth trying to sell it rather than make it into ducats.

Prime Sets :
Selling prime sets is the most effective way of making platinum off prime parts, since people are WAAAY more likely to buy full sets rather than buy a one part of a certain warframe or weapon, And so as the name suggests, in this case what you want to do is to farm all the prime parts required to build a certain set be it a weapon or a warframe, then selling it as an entire thing.
(Be aware that not all sets are worth investing in, some are still really not worth it even as an entire set)

Making the Best of your Prime Parts Trading Game :
> Now the prime parts market is always changing, prices going up prices going down, new stuff going in, old stuff going out, all sort of stuff going on, and the best way to stay on top of it is by keeping an eye on the prices, you can keep an eye on prices by using Warframe.Market or by watching the trade chat spam (very very not recommended since nowadays trade chat is just rivenmods spam).
So the catch of it is to always know the prices of your items, use your own judgment to decide whether is this item's use for you is best by selling it as a standalone item, or in a full set, or it's just flat out trash that u can only make ducat out of.
Also Make sure you sort the prices by "Cheapest - Most Expensive" when you're checking out prices on Warframe.Market, usually the cheapest price in the market is the current item's price.

> Buy Resource Boosters, many people cheaps out on buying the resources booster but i can't even explain to you how beneficial it is to have a one on you all the time, not only does it help you gain more materials in general, but it also helps you make platinum more effectively in many ways, in this case it provides you with Double the amount of traces you get, and more traces means the potential for more radiant relics hence a higher chance to get rare parts instead of common and uncommon ones.

> Use a Smeeta Kavat, Smeeta kavats are not exactly as consistent as having a resource booster but sometimes you may just hit the jackpot.
Smeeta kavats has a certain mod called "Charm" now Charm Gives you many forms of random buffs, and one of them is Double the Resources and Affinity for 120 seconds, so if you already have a resource booster the smeeta buff will stack up and you'll end up getting x4 the traces.
Sure thing it's super random and not consistent but why not take your chances, it's not like you're losing anything.
P.s : Random tip by me but if you decide on using a smeeta, use the mod [Tek Enhance] on it as well since it just overall improves the efficiency of your smeeta's buffs.

> Dedicate some time to farming Traces, If there is an endless Fissure Hop in there, Crack open a bunch of intact relics and get yourself some traces, always make sure your traces bank is at least filled half the way.
P.s : Endless Fissure stands for Missions where you can keep going, Survivals, Defense, Interception, the longer you stay the more rewarded you'll be.

> Do RadShares, Rad shares are where you team up with 3 other players and all of the team uses the same relic in a radiant form, it generally raises your chances of getting the rare part in said relic, radshares are always going on in the recruit chat, try to get stuck in there don't be shy !

And at the end of the day, Always remember, no prime part is useless, you can make profit out of all of them in a way or another !.
Prime Access & Vault
Prime Access

- Prime access is basically when we are presented with new primes in the game, its price really differs depending on the Warframe that is getting primed, whether it's popular or not, has a certain use or not, etc etc.

- Never the less a new prime at the moment of release can fetch a good price no matter what, and the more the time goes on the less expensive it is, until it settles down with all the other warframe sets around 100plats ish.

- Usually the time it takes to get to the lowest price is around a week and a bit, it's HIGHEST price after the release is within a day or two max, after that it'll just keep on dropping down, so you're gonna want to act FAST.

- The fastest method to get your hands on the new primes is by buying Relic packs off syndicates, and ofcourse you'd have to make sure you're stocked up on Void traces, after that you just pray for Rng that you'd get any of the new primes relics from the syndicate packs and if you get any you just do Rad shares with people from the recruit chat and also pray for Rng that you'd get the parts !

- It is VEEERRRYYY luck dependent, but at the same time its really profitable, so be prepared to get really unlucky with the drops, and make sure you always stock up on syndicate marks and void traces when DE announces a new prime access release ! Also Don't only focus on the new primed warframes, sometimes a good prime weapon can fetch a great price on its release as well.

(I'll talk about syndicates and relic packs more in the next section of the guide)

Prime Vault

The Prime vault is a mechanic in the game to keep the relics in check and also give old players a form of a reward that they can profit out of if they were patient.

So Around every New Prime Release, there is going to be an Old Prime going into the Vault, a Prime entering the "Vault" means that it will not be available in the game to anyone anymore, you can't farm it's relics and get your hands on it, HOWEVER !, If you were playing before it go vaulted and had a bunch of its relics lying around you get to keep them, if u had any parts of it you get to keep them, hence the only way to get your hands on a vaulted prime is by either buying it for plat from other players who owned it or its relics before the unvaulting, or waiting for it to get unvaulted (i will talk about unvaulting in a bit)

Hence we have a new market, the vaulted items market, it's pretty similar to baro's items, waiting is key! except the waiting window here is a bit ... Longer~

So before a Warframe gets vaulted DE will announce the news about it, they will say " This Prime Access is going into the vault in 2 weeks if you want to stock up on it then start doing so by now" you can find it in the news section in your orbiter.

When news of a vaulting comes out you either decide to invest in it or you don't, if you do then you'll have to just farm as many relics and parts of the item that is getting vaulted as possible, once its vaulted its only a matter of time before the price starts climbing up, some Primes sells better than others depending on their popularity, as per usual ofcourse.

And as i've said the waiting here may take a WHILE, it really goes back to you, if you wait a couple of months it will fetch a nice price, if you wait a year or two it will fetch an even better price, but at the same time the longer you wait the more likely these items will get unvaulted soon and lose all of it's value so the amount of time you'll need to wait is up to your judgement. try to go for something in between, don't go too crazy on waiting for the prices to sky rocket.

Unvaulting :

Unvaulting has never really had a real pattern to it, DE Keeps changing it (for a good reason i suppose), recently they've been going for two unvaultings a Year with each unvaulting including two prime accesses, These are the "Official" type of unvaultings, the ones were you can buy the entire prime access with its accessories from DE themselves or farm its relics.

When an official unvaulting happens the scenario is gonna be pretty similar to when a prime access is getting vaulted for the first time, you stock up on its relics and parts and you keep them around till you feel like its the right time to sell them, only difference is that the relics of any unvaulted primes can only be gained thro missions in the "Void" (no relic packs won't do)

There has been "Other" ways of unvaulting tho, DE always tries to make vault abusers uncomfortable, just to keep the prices fair~

  • The Void Trader
Baro Can bring vaulted relics with him, it has happened before with "Volt Prime" it's not an official Unvaulting process but it still effected the market prices for Volt.

  • Twitch Prime Bundles
Can Give players Vaulted Frames for free if they had the Twitch Prime feature, So far "Frost Prime" and "Trinity Prime" has been given through it.

  • Twitch Drops
Around big events Such as Tennocon DE will put a really nice drop on the twitch stream to encourage players to watch the stream,So far they've given Ash Prime and Nekros Prime through this method, which resulted in butchering the market prices for these vaulted Warframes.

  • So far it hasn't happened but i personally suspect its very possible for discord bundles to start including some vaulted unpopluar primes in it soon.

And that is all the includes The Prime vault and how to make profit out of it !

Syndicates
Syndicates are one of the most forgotten platinum making methods in the game, it may not give you as much profit as other methods but its a very consistent and reliable method to have around.

before i start talking about syndicates i just wanna point out that the higher your MR is the easier and more efficient it is to go through syndicates grind, so try to raise your MR as much as possible for this, especially if your MR is bellow 15~
(a good tactic would be to buy all market weapon blueprints and farm all the normal frames from the star chart bosses, gives your MR a nice boost, Farming MR points is really boring tho)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The 6 Factions :

So there are MANY FACTIONS in the game, first of all the 6 starting factions

You get to be with three of them, it is possible to join 4 of them but it is such a chore and it isn't really worth that much grind, but IT IS possible so if you wanna get the four go ahead, it's Red,Perrin,Loka,Steel or Suda,Arbiters,Steel,Red

So to start making plat out of these syndicates you'd wanna be at max rank with them, grind your way to the max rank, and then you'd have access to all of their inventory, each of these syndicates can provide 3 weapons, relic packs, Cosmetics, Capatura scenes and Archgun Parts.

The ones you want are The Weapons Or the Relic Packs.

- Weapons can be sold insantly (if you use the weapon for even a one mission it won't be sellable anymore tho)

- Relic packs as explained in the last part, you can use them for Prime access farming,

Both methods are really effective, But its ideal to keep the points for relic packs if a prime access is close by but if there are no any prime accesses around the corner don't hesitate to grab a weapon and sell it ! .

  • Stocking up on Factions Reputation :

The Ideal method is by doing your daily syndicate missions, and farming the marks from them, stocking up on marks in general is IDEAL for effective farming of prime accesses.

The Points you get from the missions themselves is also great but keep in mind that if you don't farm the marks then you might as well not waste your time running syndicate missions.

There are many ways to make Farming marks easier, the most popular way is the Limbo Looting set up, You'd need any Type of AOE weapon, using the Ignis, Catchmoon and Any Melee with enough range and speed will be good enough since you won't really be using it that much.

As of the limbo itself's build it's the following :

Additional Things that'd make the set-up even better are using Zenruik (makes your life easier), and Using Either Normal or Primed Animal Instinct on your companion to gain even more radar, and ofcourse Vacuum or Fetch.

So the set up is all about spamming 4 to clear out rooms, of crates, your vacuum will grab everything, squares that remains on your radar after you use your 4 are most likely marks, or Ayatans. It's a really efficient and easy way to locate marks fast.

P.s : your radar will cover only horizontal space, if something is "Above" you you won't be able to see it on the radar, So try to jump all over the place in general to make sure you're not missing out on everything, and eventually you'll really memorize the tilesets like the back of your hand trust me.

    Ostrons & The Quills

  • Ostrons :

Farming Ostrons Reputation is kinda... Boring.

barely anyone enjoys going through bounties or daily fishing, But recently the new Thumpers made it slightly a bit more bearable to stock up on reputation for the ostrons.

Never the less the most effective way to make use of your Ostron Reputation incase you have "Extra" is by Selling the Exodia Arcanes Hok Sells, they REALLY aren't that popular ...

And i seriously wouldn't recommend you go out of your way to farm ostron reputation for this, but incase you happen to have extra reputation or you just actually enjoy farming ostron reputation then selling exodia arcanes from Hok's inventory is the best method to turn that reputation into platinum.

P.s : It's Ideal to sell these arcanes as full sets (10 pieces)

  • The Quills :

Farming Quills reputation is related to Eidolons, if you're an eidolon hunter you're gonna have Allllllot of reputation for the quills and luckily Onkko has quite a nice collection of arcanes that u can buy of him.

So instead of having all that reputation lying around there u can turn it into platinum by selling onkko's Arcanes,

P.s : one of the most popular arcanes Onkko has is Magus Elevate.

    Solaris United & Vox Solaris

Given that the venus Open world was a pretty much copy pasted Plains of Eidolon (mechanics wise) it won't be really that different from the Ostrons and Quills.

  • Solaris United :

Your Extra Reputation points can be invested in Zuud's Pax arcanes (Really not worth grinding for)

  • Vox Solaris :

Pretty Similar To The Eidolons Hunters part, If you're an orb fighter you'll have alot of vox solaris reputation points, and you can invest these calda and lazulite toroids in selling some of Little Duck's Arcanes.

Some of her really popular arcanes are Magus Repair and Lockdown.

    Cephalon Simaris

Cephalon simaris is actually one of the best syndicate factions, for one you don't need to Grind your way to the top rank like the other factions!
you can make more than your daily cap allows with him. and his inventory has some item's that can be sold easily with a nice price since the effort you put into getting them was small compared to other factions.

Now ideally out of his inventory you wanna always go for two mods to make platinum out of, Energy Conversion and Health Conversion

These two mods are the most popular in his inventory so if you're ever gonna invest in any of his items then go for these two.

  • Farming Simaris Reputation :

So there are two things you need to do :
    - Always capture his daily target (and don't forget to report back to him to get your daily rewards and not miss the next day's target)
    - Use The Stealth Scanning Method.

To Explain the latter one, Basically Get a Loki or an Ivara stock up on Synthesis Scans (i'd really advice you buy the Sol-Battery Widget Upgrade From Him it gives you unlimited scans) And head over to any mission, i personally like going to Kappa on sedna, once you spawn just go invisible and start scanning enemies, they'll give you around 200 points if you're not detected once you scan an enemy make sure to kill it so another one would spawn as you move forward, and keep scanning enemies till you reach your daily cap! then finish the mission and extract, it usually takes around 10 minutes to hit your Cap if you were MR27 so it should take less if your cap is less than that.

    A bunch of Tips :
    - Don't bring a kavat with you when you're running stealth synthesis scans for standings, they can ruin your cover.
    - Bring a Silent weapon or just kill enemies with melee to avoid blowing your cover
    - The capture target Does not count from your daily cap, even if it was the 10k points one,so always get your daily target.
    - Buying the rest of the Synthesis Scanner Upgrades can help alot.
Arcanes
The Arcanes market is a bit uhh, hard to get into.

It's Super luck dependent, its pretty much all Rng yup, annnd it's kind of end game content, so if you're new or not a very knowledgeable\Strong player you really won't be able to easily get into it.

Anyways That being said, Arcanes can be obtained through killing Eidolons, and just like the other arcanes that you can get from fortuna and cetus those can be traded as well.

Each of the three eidolons drops a bunch of arcanes, and well as you'd guess the one with the most valuable ones is the Hydrolyst with it being the hardest eidolon to kill out of the three of them, So if you're ever gonna want to make platinum out of your eidolons hunt, you're gonna want to capture the teralyst and the gantulyst so that you get to fight the hydrolist.

I won't really go onto how you can kill eidolons for that's a whole other world, not the topic of this guide, i may make a guide on it in the future but im sure there are a plenty of guides for it as of now.

So with that being said, this part can only really help you if you've already done eidolon hunting and want to know whats the good and arcanes that can be sold.

In the picture above (click on it to make it readable) i've listed all the arcanes that drops from eidolons and i highlighted the ones that can be sold out of them, i've also included their drop chances so you have a rough idea of what to expect.

Ideally you would want to get your hands on Energize and Grace since they're the most expensive ones, but they're pretty rare which is why they are expensive in the first place, so don't get your hopes too high but also keep on the grind and don't let rng discourage you, eventually you'll get a one or two good drops !

Now regarding their prices, they really change alot, so its best if you check warframe.market for their pricing, that being said don't expect them to be super expensive, the arcanes trading world is about selling MANY arcanes for cheap prices, which ofcourse ... eventually is a lot of plat on your side, the more eidolons you can kill the more arcanes you'll get, so it really depends on your efficiency in how many arcanes can you get in a day or how many eidolons you can kill per night on the plains.

  • Tips to make the best of your Arcane Trading :

    - Try to commit to eidolons hunting if you're gonna make this your main platinum income way, find people like yourself that are commited to the eidolon hunts and stick with them, being familiar with your squad makes it way easier.

    - Don't get discouraged if you end up having a bunch of cheap arcanes that are worth 10 plats each, if you sell all of them you'll end up with at least 100 plats most of the time, as i said the arcanes trade is all about quanity nowadays.

    - Use your own judgment to sell an arcane either by parts or at max rank, its kind of a case to case thing, sometimes its best to sell as max rank, sometimes its better as standalone parts.

And thats pretty much all there is to the arcanes trading.
Riven Mods
Riven Mods Trading Is basically a Hit or Miss, you either hit the jackpot and make a big amount of plat, or you just miss the jackpot and get another skana riven mod that you'll never use or be able to sell.

Ofcourse there are ways to force your way into the rivens market and start selling good mods but it requires that u have a good amount of platinum that you're welling to invest with, so if you're a new player, you really don't wanna be investing or going any where near the rivens market since it's super end game based and has so many factors that you won't even understand, and that'll make you an easy target for scams, my advice for new players would be to either sell your rivens while they're still veiled\locked or just keep them around until you have a better grasp onto what rivens are and how they work.

So anyways with that out of the way lets get into the details of riven mods trading and how to profit out of it.
-------------------------------------

Method 1 :

Easiest and most guaranteed way would be simply to sell your rivens when they are still veiled, you almost have a 100% chance that you'll sell (unless the challenge is super hard but even those will sell eventually), this counts as the least profitable method tho, you're selling it for a small amount but its a guaranteed amount, you have zero risks going on here.

P.s : Be aware that the type of a veiled riven mod will change its price, so rifle rivens are more expensive that pistol ones, so always check on warframe.market to get the right prices.

Method 2 :

Well Naturally the 2nd method would be taking the risk and unlocking your riven, this is where the hit or miss scenario comes in, if you get a bad riven then, well ... you just keep it around until you have 3 other bad rivens, then you'll transmute them and make yourself a brand new veiled riven mod, then you'll be back at point zero, either go for method 1 or repeat two until you get a good weapon, at the end of the day it's all luck and rng based.

On the other side if you get a decent weapon from your riven then ...

You have three choices to sell a Good\Decent Weapon riven mod :

  • Selling it Unrolled :
Again this is the Safest way to go about it but is also the least profitable, ( In most cases, Selling a good weapon riven unrolled is worth more than selling it unveiled. )

  • Rolling It Untill you get a Good or Godly Stats :
This would be the most profitable way to go about it but it's also risky cuz u have no guarantee that you'll get that good stats .
~P.s : Godly Stats is only when you have 3 Really Really suitable and good stats for a weapon with a one negative that doesn't hurt the weapon, please don't be misleading in describing a really good riven as a gody riven.

  • Giving up and selling it for cheap with bad stats and many rolls
if you spend alot of time on a riven and just end up not getting any luck then u either sell it for cheap or transmute it with other three bad ones. choice is yours.

    Method 3 :

The Third method is investing, basically you're gonna invest of your own possessed platinum into buying rivens, you buy popular weapon riven mods and only POPULAR ones, Choose the unrolled or heavily rolled ones with cheap prices, then Re-roll them to get a good stats and re sell for higher prices (try to at least cover the price u paid for it with a bit extra over it), this method is way less profitable than getting a good weapon yourself and selling it cuz you're not making 100% profit since you didn't get the riven for free. but when it comes to riven trading there is nothing for granted, u can't keep on waiting until you get a good\popular weapon, you need to invest if you're gonna fully embrace the riven mods trading world.

    -------------------------------------------

So with the Three Basic methods of rivens trading out of the way, im gonna share some tips that i've personally learned from my riven trading experience.
(i'm by no means anywhere near being a good rivens trader i dislike the rivens market so i don't swing its way rather often)

  • If you're trading rivens you're constantly farming kuva, make sure to have a resource booster on you all the time, its almost a must have if i were to say so myself, since you'll be needing every bit of kuva you'll need, Also bring a smeeta while you're at it, it's pretty similar to what i mentioned when i explained void traces farming.

  • A Very Frequent question is "I have gotten a very good riven mod but i can't find a Buyer. How?"
The Answer for that would be, Patience, one of the hardest parts about riven trading is actually finding a buyer, its almost on par with trying to get a good stats on it.

  • Organize your rivens in a notepad, create a list of your sellable ones and spam it in the trade chat.

  • Use Riven.Market It's not the best rivens site but its what we have right now for trading rivens, list your rivens there and make sure to list yourself online and in-game, then you just wait for buyers.

  • Always have an idea on what's the really popular weapons in the rivens market, whats the most wanted and boughtable weapons, if you invest blindly you wont get anywhere. usually the really popular weapons can be seen in trade chat, if u see a weapon's riven being sold one too many times by many players then this is a popular weapon, other ways would be by just following the game news and knowing whats going on in the community.

Conclusion
And we've reached the end of the guide, i will update the guide with any new informations or methods that i happen to learn of in the future, with that being said ! thank for reading through this guide if you did and i really hope it helped you get an understanding on how trading works in warframe, i know it was a long read but i wanted to explain almost everything i could !

~ Have a nice day ^^.
