Yes the green of the uranium ore was a little bit higher to recognize it at first glance. which was the first thing wanted on this mod to have colored ores and not black and white or very bland like other similar mod. From this base I wanted to start with icons being as realistic as possible scientifically or in the collective imagination.

I'm a fan of the resource icons. A lot of work went into the ores and ingots and that makes them distinguishable at a glance now. On the other hand I feel that the components often sway too far from the game. An good example is the thruster component that has nothing to do with turbines in SE. The 3D model of the missiles don't have stabilizer fins. Other components are used by the game in a vague and generic way, such as the large steel tube and I personally prefer an equally vague icon to reflect that. I.e. the new icon looks like a gas or liquid pipe for industrial or sanitary use, but it is part of the antenna and the spotlight. Just my 2c.
