I don't have a grasp on this game.

Ya, so here's my grasp on this game
-I got Brave New World vibes with the whole VR thing to keep people happy

-VR encourages violence against fellow brothers, additionally, I think this might be a system to keep civilians obedient, there could be a reward and punishment points system, where individuals are rewarded for meetings tasks of being happy and punishment for becoming sad, marking you for violence and encouraged by the VR with currency.

-This game is quite short, 39 minutes for me, while this game got ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing after the plugging yourself into a hookah tower, this game brought up some interesting concepts. I encourage the developers to stray away from the zoo white temple thing and focus more on dystopian aspects, that's what interested me.

Bye

This is more of a literal interpretation but in my opinion I think the tower is or was supposed to be an Ark to survive the collapse of earth. You see advanced recycling facelities to turn waste humans into food ala Soylent Green, you have simple living quarters, the VR/AR I think was to help people cope and intergrate with the tower, and towards the end you have the gene banks with all the sea creatures.

I also got big garden of Eden and Tree of Knowledge vibes from the end. There was also cyclical theme with you being able to release a man with the same tattoo/marking on his chest from the tube and with how a old man with the same marking dies as you arrive.

Anyways what ever it was I enjoyed it

I think that, while it wasn't the main message, they were saying that an utopia and a dystopia are the same thing. Really this was a game about enlightenment through ascending to a higher, literally, choice. The end is the only true choice continue or start over, and the choice is yours to make.
